Getting too big, what to do?

Hello, I am a third generation (previous grows - AK47, OG Lemon Kush) newbee personal grower and now have a Sativa, Maui Wowee starting to bud. I am growing in Foxhill farm soil, 2 gallon bags, using the Fox Hill trio nutrients lightly, with 600W HP light source, ventilation etc. All are healthy.... too much so. My indoor crop has started to reach close to 4-6 " from the light source and 6 - 10" from the top of the tent. I have moved each of the (4) plants to the sides to avoid burning. Temps are running 80 - 85 in the middle of the tent. This grow I did NOT top or do any low stress training.

I still have at least 4-6 weeks of flowering. How can I save this crop and still get solid buds? Any thoughts.

I also have (3) of the same plants outdoors with my tomato plants. These (3) plants are now about 7' tall and have not yet started flowering. Should I top these?

Any helpful assist is appreciated.

Thnx,

Three putt

First place inside larger bags and fill with medium. No roots equals no bud. 2 gallon is totally inadequate. Top non-flowering and read about supercropping.

Sorry my bad, they are 3 gallon bags and have worked well previously. But I agree they are minimum size to avoid major root balls.
I topped out door plants today ( took off about two feet), and LST indoor plants to get bud tops off the ceiling and lamp. Couply photos before topping and LST are attached.
