Getting started

I am so fucking excited I can barely contain myself. We're having 75* sunny days here in the SE US and I've got the best place ever to grow my babies, right smack dab in the middle of the thickest saw briar patch known to man. I've already got my babies about 18 inches high. I've had them in the house growing for a month and a half. Damn I feel like a kid on Christmas morning!!!

Only 5 more days til Spring. That does get my blood pumping.

I must be a little south of you. It's been in the 80's here all week. I'm doing everything outside, and have a few seedlings in the sun already. I'm spreading my patches out, trying not to put more than 6-8 plants per patch. Here is a thread I started about some of my hole choices {and all sorts of other shit}.

Emerald Triangle for me - just me and at least 10,000 other mofos. Currently I can only grow 3 plants per season in a tiny 3' by 10' patch, using 7.5 gallon pots that only get about 5 - 6 hours direct sun which is just right to keep the plants below fence height. Believe it or not, even 5 foot plants can produce thick, stinky colas and some tasty smoke.

Yeah you must be a little farther down the road than me. It got up in the 70's here but it's like freaking 50 out today. It will frost one more time here. Still have blackberry and dogwood winters to go. I have some already about a foot or more tall ready to go out. I'm ready to get them out to my bedroom smells like a sack of weed...lol

Hell yeah they can a small plant can produce quality buds just the same as a big plant if you take care of it. The only difference is the quantity. I would give my left nut to live in the triangle man at least you guys don't face prison time if caught with a plant. Good growing

IDK about your area, if you keep up with when the last frost usually hits before spring starts you sure wanna be after that. I know when the first day of spring is on the calendar but I'm talking about when it actually starts. I would say the end of April I m farther south than you and I like to wait until the first of May myself but even if you wait until the middle of May you'll still have 4 and a half months growing. Good luck and good growing!!

Like I said I normally put my out in the middle of April an im in Va
I'm a farther south than you and I won't set mine out in the middle of April, we usually have one last frost along about that time but I live in the mountains too so that has a lot to do with it. Good growing and good luck!
