getting rid of smells without a carbon filter

hey all,
im currently about to be starting a small grow. Im going to be growing 6 autoflower strains(M15 by shortstuff) in 3 gallon buckets. I need this grow to be completely stealth with no smell. I dont want to use a carbon filter either. A lot of sites are saying ONA Blocks might work. anyone have any experience with these? Also, someone said a negative ion generator with a hepa filter like this one(http://www.target.com/p/Honeywell-Permanent-HEPA-Type-Tabletop-Air-Purifier/-/A-10587114). Anyone think that would work? I need something cheap like that. And finally, i'm thinking about getting the ozone generator junior thats like 80 bucks at most hydro shops. Anyone have any suggestions or opinions? Any good answers will receive +REPS.
 
Ona does not work; I've tried it. I've used the cheap little ionizers you can buy for about $30 on fleabay and they work great. Just search for ionic air purifiers or something. It's all you need for a medium sized grow, overkill for a small one.
 
I'm not a big fan of scent covers. It's like using the bathroom spray after you've taken a big crap; it smells like you took a big crap in the forest or in a florist shop. :) The ionizer removes the smell, doesn't add another smell and it's really cheap.
 
ozone generator, you can build one from an old crt tube power supply if yer half smart, dont electricute yourself!

You mean someone can snitch on you from these forumns. Not good. Wouldn't you have to give personal info like where you live? I guess you can tell I'm new. Smoked for 40 years and never been arrested, don't want to start now.

Ya. Its good to stay away from people like that. Carne Seca also claims to be a gay mormon that smokes weed. How rediculous is that. I know a lot of mormons and they all say he is completely full of it. Its something about that mormon mentality that makes them want to try and " do right" in the world. So he ends up snitching on other people. It should be criminal IMO. there is no love for people like that around here....
 
I tried everything...and i lived in fear untill i got a carbon filter...one plant used to stink out the entire house..sixty could be smelt twenty feet from my front door...with a filter you can stand outside a room with 100 and not smell a damd thing..bro go for the filter youll never have to worry..especially with strains like sour and the real stinky ones
 
I've heard great thing about Ona. You just have to make sure you get enough for the size of your grow.

if healthy happy plants dont stink..then i want mine sick and pissed off..how can you say a happy healthy marijuana plant doesnt stick?..lol i dont know what your growing bro but mine are healthy and stink to HIGH hell.

Plants definitely stink more when under stress, Before I got my carbon filter I knew when my plants needed water because they would start stinking up the house. It was like "sniff , sniff, sniff, hey the plants are asking for water =P" And yeah I was getting nervous a fuck before I got the carbon filter, I caught a whiff all the way over at my fence line which is only 20 yards from a church/daycare. Screw that! I bought the fan and filter the next day! Now I vent into the house and never smell a thing and it saves on heating costs.
 
I can get to about thirty days veg..by that time they are starting to smell..when i switch to flower forgwt about it..but in sure its not because they arent happy...these two buds reak..theyll stink the whole house out..but theyre happy and healthy...and when they get harvested even smellier.
 
My plants smell like grape bubblegum. It's all I can do sometime to keep from tasting of it. ...I mean other than in brownies or apple butter bars.

I dont know, my buddy grew some stressed ass plants and didn't smell very good or appealing,
Ive been growing many many years and i can say that i keep completely healthy plants that stink up the block.
I actually look at it on the contrary, the healthier they are the more stinky they become!:mrgreen:
