I sincerely doubt animals can die from weed smoke...They used to tell us if you got high you would go crazy and murder your whole family. Don't believe everything you hear...And Dub it sounds like the kitten died from lack of oxygen.

lol yeah i had a husky before ate a whole half ounce of regular bud, i left it on my computer desk, went to take a shit, came back and theres just a ripped up bag and a huge stem on the floor. i was like oh man he's gonna be high.

he went to sleep, then in the morning when i went to let him outside, he like couldnt get up at first, and he's looking around like all googly eyed, he finally got up, and he was walking all funny, lol he went outside, and just pissed standing up without lifting his leg, then layed down in it. was looking around like he was tripping, he layed outside all day, and wouldnt move, wouldnt come in, if i started to go near him he'd growl(this husky was crazy, i had to give him away after awhile, ever since he was a puppy he use to freak on me and bite me searously).

but yeah im pretty sure he was like tripping, i dunno. he wasnt right intill about a full 32 hours after he ate the shit, then he snapped back to normal. i was freakin though, i didnt want him to die, and i didnt wanna take him to the vet and have them pump a half ounce of weed outta him. i called a friend and he said naw just leave him be he'll snap out of it, and he did. haha. ever since then i wanted to eat a half ounce of bud.

I have a german shepherd/wolf mix who loves to get baked and roll around on her back and get belly rubs. At least twice a day. It's hilarious because she gets soo chink eyed sometimes. Good times!

I have a 17y/o cat I got when he was one. Before he was mine his owner used to put him in a paper bag and have everyone blow their hits into it. Then they would get high and forget about him, still in the bag. They moved out and left him behind, which is when I took him. He doesn't like to get high and I never force him.

One the other hand I have two cats that do seem to enjoy it. I only do it when I'm using the vaporizer. I save some of the bag and let the vapor gently float around their ears. I have never found anything that confirms cats can get high this way, and really I can't conclusively say it even works. If I just watch my cats at random times they pretty much seem dopey anyway.

I have a beagle that loves to get high. She has a nose on her unlike any dog I have ever seen before. Anyway, she can smell me getting pot ready before she see's it. Once I get the bong, she's my best friend, all up in my business. I share about 2 bowls with her, I just cup my hands around her mouth, put my mouth on my hands, wait for her to exhale, and then I start exhaling slowly. I usually make it last for about 2-3 inhales for her, and then she goes and stones out on the couch watching tv.

P.S. Put on the Nat Geo science of dogs, and/or the Nova one about dogs, and if your dog likes TV, it'll trip out on those shows. Mine does anyway.

P.S.S. Remember dogs can hold thier breath, the trick is to be ready to exhale, and watch the ribs or stomach, you should be able to see them breathing. Mine would hold her breath for the first 10 or so times, and it was a waste (for her). After that I waited her out (damn they can hold thier breath a long time), and blow when she takes a big breath after holding it. After a couple times of that she loved it, and nudges the bong with her nose when she wants a hit.

Take your dog out to shit and piss before you do it too, just in case they get couch locked.

I got a golden retriever as a puppy last year, Hes about 9 or 10 months now. He will eat any bud you leave laying around, even roaches. (I realized that cause I don't find them anymore) He doesnt like the smoke though, goes to the other side of the room or outside when I blaze. To each his own. By the way, I read you shouldn't blow in a dogs ear.

The dog before the one I have now was a rottweiler. He used to strugglelike crazy, even when I and two friends tried to pin him down he'd still manage to escape before getting a hit.

The dog I have now doesn't like it either, i think it's because he's a boxer and he needs his nose.
in no way should you force smoke into the dogs nose... this is a good way of messing with his lungs and nasal passages. The best way to get your dog high is to blow it directly into there ears. A dogs ear does not have an ear drum and you can actually enter the cerebral cortex through a dogs ear. The dogs ear is made up of blood vessels that can actually do pretty much exactly what a humans lungs do. The dog being a mammal is equipped with THC receptors which will essentially get your dog high with out painfully hurting his nose.
Doing it this way also make it not animal cruetly since you are not forcing it into the dogs body you are merely blowing smoke into his ear.

I kind of wish I could get high like a dog. Then I wouldnt have to cough my ass off ever huge bong load I take...

my dogs hate it. it kinda funny when im in my room watching tv and they chill with me, as soon as i pull out my jar of weed they want to leave the room. i think the smoke smell is too strong for them. i've blown hits at them before and they sneeze a lot. anytime i go to blow them hits now they try to avoid it by any means. i figured they don't seem to like it so it would be cruel of me to force it upon them. so i just let them be now. if in time they ever happen to bug me when im smoking i would be more than glad to give them as many hits as they wish.

if your pet doesnt like getting high, please dont force it upon them. lot of young kids do this cause they think it's funny or cool. if your pet likes it, then fucking awesome! my brothers friend used to put his dog in this big box and blow all his hits in it. it always scared the dog half to death. i thought it was mean.

I kinda wanna get my dog baked some time. He's 12 years old, so at least once, ya know? But, he's a really calm and relaxed dog, so maybe he doesn't need it as much as me o_O Either way I wouldn't blow smoke at him. I was thinking just a small little cookie... but idk if dogs digest it the way we do.

I have a Blue and Gold macaw (parrot) who loves to get high i milk the bong and then blow it in his face and he loves it lol he sticks his tongue out and opens his mouth its hilarious :leaf:

Personally, I would never intentionally get any pet of mine high. I just don't think it's right to force that on an animal. Who can really say if they actually enjoy it or not? That's just me though. With that being said, I don't judge other people who do it.
