coos bay is supposed to be really nice. i've been in the marina, many years ago. never been into town though. we came in from the ocean and left the same way.

google maps says "8 hours" for me.

is 8 hrs by water or land. from here to my moms in redding is 324 miles and takes 5 to 5 1/2 hrs. ill be making that trip again in june. woopie but i'll be glad to see mom again.:bigjoint:

i'm about 3 hours from redding. on land. by sea it is a few days. well, by sea to redding would taken much longer. it's a winding river to get there. :bigjoint:

ya stick to the pavement. but that still a drive. and i want to take the wife to safrancisco to the warf. per 39 i think thats right. she has never been and its been years for me. :leaf:
