Ey i live in canada and i have a few plants that are budding...im not sure for how long they are budding since i dont really know when to start counting weeks. Anywayz i noticed that its getting colder here and everyone is saying that frost will come more soon then other times...my plants are far from done and just started to bud a little bit...I dont think i have enough time to finish, do you? If i cant even grow properly outside in this country then what the fuck. :-?

I cant answer you're question because I am not 100% sure. But all I can say is next time you grow try to get some faster flowering plants, or more frost resistant ones.

Out of curiosity where in Canada are you?

I live in Canada too man, In Niagara Falls Ontario, My plants are on there 4th week of flowering, there has been signs of frost on my plants but nothing bad only turning the leaves and stems purple, ive been doing some research and we should be able to keep our plants outside till the first week of october, If you have to harvest early then do it at least youll get something for all the time spent.

During the nighttime, heat transfers out of the ground and goes up. If you can make some sort of tent cover for them at nighttime it should help some during light frost nights/mornings.

i am in the same exact position as you my plant is 7 ft tall and is a beautiful sativa its only two weeks or so into flowering and i only have till mid october but if so ya you should harvest earlier but i have a really amazing way to keep your plants alive throuh frost...my buddies mom would always do this to her favorite flowers and they always seemed to work...you get a regular old bedsheet not a blanket or ne thing heavy but you put it over the top of your plant through winter it prevents the plant from frosting itll be cold and do some damage to your plant but it will not kill it and youll be able to save it for the next season good luck and happy growing

XD im not planning on saving it till next season, im just trying to stretch the time when it is needed. The winter here is nuts and everything will freeze hehe. I think i will come far in the 5 weeks i have left because i think my plant is a fast budding type :D If a early harvest is needed and the plant is imiture...would the weed still be oke and get me high if there is a bunch of weed on it?
