aight i just did my first grow and their almost ready to be harvested...they turned out pretty good, but im kinda wantin to down size on the grow room so i need my plants to stay kinda small but bushy as hell! ive seen pics of peoples plants that aint but a foot or foot and a half tall but there bushy as shit! i know topping and stuff like that helps but what are some good techniques i can use on my next grow to keep the little bastards small and bushy!!!

Yes I agree with alpha cfl's kept close in do make for very short plants but I think you want multiple colas which also requires topping or shaping as mrfishy says.

A mix of both and you can have bonsai's or move the cfl's or other light off and they'll get taller again. Soon you'll be able to train them however you like.

I top mine several times usually, until they have more than a handfull of lower branches that pass the tops in height and then it all evens out to a flat bushy plant with many many "colas" (not really colas any more) during flowering.

Just make sure you top them early and when it statrs to grow multiple heads just tie them dow so it can spread out instead of growing straight up

11" tall . . . 30"+ canopy 7 inches deep . . . re-veg six weeks, 7 week flower, WRhino (medi-bagseed) = 100 gms. cured

Vegged and budded under 12$ W-Mart shoplights, X3 (6 tubes) 3-coolwhite
3-gro-lux, all 40's.

@Day 50 . . . Betcha' can't tell where I took my test sample from?





LOTS of silver dollar sized buds. 600W digital HPS coming tomorrow! Now let me see what I can do?
