I didn't mean an "attack" Vi, I honestly wanted to read where the hell Obama becomes a socialist and will turn America into a socialist nation, and how mccain is going to keep it real, and keep it "American"

From those 2 reads, honestly its all opinion, i want to see a government issued release of something where it says Obama is a socialist thinker, and mccain is not.

I don't understand, this is America, how can anyone turn this country into a socialist nation. It will never happen. it cant EVER happen. No matter how many bills are passed.. (patriot act) The FISA bill is nothing more than a phone tapping bill, you really think there is someone out there to listen to 300 million Americans?

Hey Vi, honestly man cut the crap and tell me why the hell you think mccain is better than Obama, or why Obama is so bad. is it because you will suffer economically due to the "tax cut" situation? or do you really care about your country, and you want whats best for it.

IF SO then you can cut the crap and say that Palin is TOTTTTALLLYYY nOOTTT ready to be a "president" let alone VICE.

And mccain him self doesn't seem like a bright guy to me..

Not only that.. I WOULD NEVER EVER VOTE for a person that's been in the military... and has seen action, NO WAY. Those men are trained to FIGHT BATTLES, not to become presidents.

Last time i checked, anything close to being a "socialist" nation is by bush. He promotes fear (war on terror), convinces people to give up their freedom so he can take care of the "war on terror"(patriot act), then declares war. Now, doesn't that sound like socialist movements? from what i remember, clinton being president for 8 years was fucking BADASS... I don't think Obama is going to try to scare anyone into his views. I think he will tell it like it is, then do it. If the people dont like it, they will say so. NO MORE HIDDDEN BULLSHIT like this past 8 years.

Btw, mccain voted for all FISA related bills.

So cut the crap... tell me the truth, the honest truth. DO you really think hes going to "declare martial law". it will never happen.

OR is it just an ego thing, kind of like you have been a sworn republican, and you dont care whose running but you will just attack a democrat "CuZ yOu Gotz to"

I REALLY WANT TO KNOW, if im blind and i dont see what you see, TELL ME.

The easiest way to pay for stuff is to fix corporate loopholes. Many people, including myself (up to the beginning of this century), have exploited the loopholes for years. If you're smart enough, and apparently most corporations are, then you pay no corporate taxes at all. Our corporate tax rate is one of the highest in the world...on its face. But when you pay $0.00 in corporate taxes, it's about as good as it gets. As an individual, there has never been a time when I paid no taxes at all. As a corporation, that was always the case.

Whoever wins the White House is going to inherit one beaten-down dog of an economy after eight years of Republican mismanagement. Short of some rescue plan passing in Congress (and quickly, because things are already spiraling out of control), we may be in a second depression for most of the next ten years, and probably won't be able to afford much of anything except debt payments, if that.

Blondie, the socialist creed is from each according to their ability to each according to their need. Thus listening to Obama it is easy to see that he is indeed a socialist.

He wants to extend Social Security, which was not meant to be another means of wealth transfer, so that it transfers even more wealth from the wealthy to the poor. (never mind that thanks to the traitors we elected to Washington it has became a method of transferring wealth from the young to the old.)

He wants to shove socialized (nationalized) medicine down our throats.

Arguing that he is not a socialist is like arguing that Stalin was not a socialist, it can't be done.

Arguing that he is not a socialist is like arguing that Stalin was not a socialist, it can't be done.
and arguing mcsame is a better man can't be done either ...

For the life of me, I can't figure why the infamous duo hates me, but I guess that's the way they are. No problem. I try and ignore them but they prowl the site looking for ways to demean me, I say this, fuck-em.

Then GrowRebel, how do you explain Obama's connections with Tony Rezko, and with Franklin Raines (former CEO of Fannie Mae) that pocketed millions while the company slipped into insolvency?

What about his relation with Jim Johnson, another former CEO of Fannie Mae, that pocketed millions while Fannie Mae was misstating its profits (and his income.)

Hardly trivial things. A man can be judged by the company he keeps, and Obama's company is a bunch of thiefs and con-artists.

As far as "$900 Million in Earmarks" Obama. All I have heard from him is continuously changing rhetoric that usually has no connection to what I am concerned about, which is ensuring I still have a job tomorrow (none of his approaches cover that to my satisfaction, (neither do McCain's)), and that I am able to enjoy my retirement (which will never happen if he tries to expand that bloated failed behemoth called Social Security.)

Of course, I'm attacking Obama. McCain, I could tolerate, he's going to cut taxes, and if he honestly practices what he is preaching he is going to cut government to pay for it. I don't see any Conflict on Interest there. His interests coincide nicely with mine, lower taxes, and smaller government.

The idea that Obama, is a community activist is ludicrous.

First off, his community activism can be described as being party to suing CitiBank for not providing enough SubPrime loans. SubPrime loans that were collateralized by firms like CitiBank, and then sold to idiots.

He talks about stabilziing housing prices (as does McCain) a move that I detest, because right now, it's still cheaper for me to rent then to purchase a house, and I can save up for my retirement. Both candidates want to interfere in the markets in such a way that would make the Soviet Union jealous, if only because the Soviet Union never had a functioning economy to screw with.

"$700 Billion that goes to Terrorists" - yeah, terrorists like the Banking and Financial Firms.

Don't vote McCain, because a vote for McCain is a vote for Terrorism.
Don't vote Obama, because a vote for Obama is a vote for Terrorism.
Vote independent, and send a message to D.C. and the lobbyists.

"In all of us - beyond age, experience, education, aspirations and accomplishments - lies an immutable and lasting stratum of what can best be called "character." It consists of a mixture of pragmatic ideals, including abiding self-confidence and self-respect, a compassionate spirituality, honesty, and a healthy and consistent work ethic, moral strength and a respect for others. These qualities are not so readily apparent - emerging more in what a person does over time, and not so much in what they say. I have observed John McCain and Barack Obama long enough to have seen a striking difference between them in terms of some of the qualities mentioned. I hope you will observe them and compare them, too, and vote on the basis of what you find. It may prove critical to America's survival as the leader of the free world."

My explanation is Obama is a corporatist ... that explains the company he keeps ... he and McSame were selected as candidates for that very reason ... that's why I'm voting Green this Nov. ... :eyesmoke:

As far as I'm concerned ... a vote for Obama or McSame is a vote for "business as usual" ...

After the performance at the 2nd debate, the only decision I've seen is a cause to reaffirm my decision to vote LP.

You're right, TBT ... the debate was horrible from both sides. I know from his history that O'Bama is a devout socialist ... a commie-lite even, but when McCain said he wanted to put 300,000,000,000 of taxpayer money toward a federal mortgage buy-down program, I almost choked on my croissant and latte.

So now it looks like we have a choice between a commie-lite and a socialist.

Going back 100 years, and then moving forward in our history, I can tell you guyz that something VERY sinister is afoot. Keep your guns handy.
