Get bud, Quicker

Getting pissed off recently about it being to late to plant, and after planting they got eaten by damn animals i done some research about how exactly the photoperiod shit works.

First i read an article about growing tomatoes, and how the size of the pot relates to the amount of roots that can grow obviously. when there is no more room for new root growth, the plant goes into a panic mode, and the plant struggles, but because it went into this "panic mode", it decides to die, or immedietly start to flower. By flower what i mean is tomato plants blossom, a little yellow star like shaped flower grows, then it grows the actual tomato.

After reading another article in a mj growing guide, more of a book, it stated that mj goes through a similiar pocess when it runs out of space for new roots to grow.

So my hypothesis is if you plant m a pot that is too small, it will run out of space shortly after it has shown its sex, then mj will either die, or go into flower. However the plant(s) will be rather small in size and have buds that are relative in size to the plant. So where me at its too late to replant, so i will try this, and soon i will put up a grow journal.

what are your thoughtsabout this and your opinions?:bigjoint:

your plants being root bound wont force them into flowering, they start flowering outdoors when the plants recognize the days becoming shorter. and as far as them dieing because the roots dont have room to grow i dont think thats true either. people grow in beer pong cups indoor and the plants do fine, they just wont get as big as they could in a bigger pot

Seen 5 footers grown in 16oz cups.

Good luck getting them to flower based on root space.

If you can't get the hang of conventional growing you shouldn't go inventing your own techniques. Sorry.

its not that growing in a smaller container cant be done..its that the plant is more likely to not surevive from not enough air..but also in a smaller container you have to water more and becareful with the nutes..its easier to burn

You're talking about it flowering "after showing sex" because the container is "too small" when you can't even grow seedlings dude.

You obviously didn't read enough about the tomatoes. Tomatoes flower when they have excess sugar built up from not being able to grow bigger, this in no way shape or form a "panic mode" it's normal~
