germination

ok pros i have a question today marks day 1 in my indoor growing experiance! not to germinate the seeds i bought some rapid rooter for my clones should i germinate them in that after soaking the seeds in water till they sink or go old fashoned in a papper towel??:leaf:

I recommend 48 hours in a shot glass or something soaking in water. After that move to a wet paper towel and check daily to make sure paper is wet, but not soaked.

Yeah man id go with the paper towel and Juans idea with the shot glass would probably be the best way to go bro.

I prefer using Jiffy Pellets. Have had no issues and it is just too easy to plant when you are ready to go into soil and container.

However you do it, I'm sure they will come out fine. They are pretty tough plants! Good luck :bigjoint:

I had best success with jiffy peate pods myself. Get a dome and sow them in the pods a few mm below the surface. Keep the bottom warm 80 degree (i use to of deep freezer cause its warm up there). Then take the dome off once they sprout. Do not over water. GL

How soon after starting to open should they be taken out of the shot glass and put in the rooters? Do you wait till they completely open or just till the tip of the tap root shows?

Almost all my experience has been with clones, not from seed.
