Autos don't NEED to be transplanted. Place germed seed in its final size pot
(3 - 5 gallon ) . It doesn't need any stress , just let her grow.
It will never get root bound ( unless you plant in a very small pot ) because of its extremely short veg period. I grew 2 auto mazar in 3 gallon pots and root ball was barely a third of container when plants life ended ( week 9 ).
I still got up to 600 grams per plant. Autos have a hard wired lifespan because of its RUDERALIS characteristics.
No you didn't I got to call you on that one.no way you pulled 2 2/3 pounds off two auto mazar's

You have to remember that cut weight is relative. It's WET WEIGHT.
When all the drying and curing is said and done.. Your ending weight will be less.

You don't necessarily need big pots. Berry Ryder in a 1 gallon pot with FFOF. Don't know the weight. It's still growin.
This was started in a red cup under CFL then transplanted to this 1 gallon and put under the 600. Nothing HUGE but IMO it's really nice. Very simple LST.

Airpots will grow you some big ass plants.
I use the 15 L but the smaller ones will also grow above comparable size pots.
There are a couple of guys that have pulled a lb off an auto in a 15 l airpot.

Which is why you should only talk dry weight since that's what counts. That said the dry weight would be around 4-5 zips per plant and that's still really good.
Weed seeds really aren't difficult to germinate especially fresh ones. I do the shot glass, then papertowell and then to pot once I see any sign of a tail. I've never covered my pots/cups with anything.That's for my purchased seeds. I made some seeds last year and just threw some in the corner of the garden and some straight to small pots and they all sprouted. Took a little longer than the babyied seeds but still worked.
