germination question.

I just got a whole bunch of bagseeds from a friend and they all look good and brown, some are more greyish brown, but anyway, i stuk a couple in germ for 2 days and no taproot emerged so i decide to crack one open and inside i could see the white little embryo. does this mean they will work? i just need to wait a little longer maybe?

get that seed in some soil... and water... next time just let the seed do its thing..

Yeah wait longer sometimes seeds are old but will still work but they take awhile. Some people put them in a damp paper towel the circle them three times do a prayer blah blah blah, Just stick them in the ground and wait. My whole grow right now came from one seed, that a MMJ grower said if we found one he would buy it back, well I didn't give it back and I grew it and never looked back. It was female and now I clone. Some people just need patience. I've waited up to 10 days and thought it was a goner and then pop!! Don't need to do anything but put her in soil and then hope to hell you have a girl.

i forgot to add this before but some of the seeds are a little bigger than others. has anyone ever had seeds slightly larger than normal? they seem healthy but just a little larger

i've been smoking for 17 years... and most every seed has been realitivly the same size.... except for one time...

this old pot dealer is was going through for a long time was moving out and he found while moving almost a pound of weed that he'd gotten who knew how long ago... it was old... we started braking these old ass buds apart cause we now were going to try to smoke the pound... the seeds were humongus i swear to you they were the size of a sweet pea...

other than that i'd seen some seeds from amsterdam another friend smuggled back they were pretty big but still not as big as the ones i told you about

so the seeds may just be old.... or they were partially germed at one time.. i've had seeds swell during germ and never pop

a whole bunch of useless info...

take them seed scratch lighly with sand paper
soak in glass of water for 12to 24 hrs
then put inbtween moist paper towel
put in plastic and keep warm at all times
be patiene

Im brand new to all this too but Ive germd three times not and have 100% success. Take a plate with three layers of paper towels, put seeds on it, put two layers of paper towels on top, soak with water, room temp. or a bit warm. Put a bowl upside down to make a dome over the seeds. I then take a heating pad bought at a pharmacy on low setting with about four layers of shower toels over it, and then put plate with seeds ontop of that. Average is about 24-6hours untill all seeds have cracked and root exposed. Good luck bud!

yah i think they may be old because they sound just like your story doglettforever. but only like 2 are really big like the size of a small green pea.

Keep them warm and dark at the same time. Put them on top of your monitor or something. Modem maybe.. Good luck
