germination question

i have used the paper towel mthod sucssesfully, and now i am rdy to take them out and put them into party cups of soil then put the cups in a humidity dome....my question is after i put them in the cups and in the dome, do i put lighting over them or do they stay in the dark a while?

after mine germinate i put it in the soil and put lights on it and they usually sprout that day or the next

Same here.

put them under reg household fluro's or cfl's and keep the light on 24hrs until they sprout.

ive put them in seedling soil....i watered and mixed the soil 1st for about 5 min then left it to dry about 12 min.. after i made an impression with a pen about 1/2 inch to an inch deep and put them in with safe fingers..

however my 6500k ecoplus didnt work and had goten damaged in shpping, ive tired to improvise using an incadescent bulb about 1 inch away from the top of the dome under my reflector..

how long can i keep this up for before i need to swtich lights?, and how long do i keep them in starter soil for?

u should switch to cfl's like the day they sprout...there only like a few dollars at walmart....incadecents are the worst light to try to grow with

cfls or floros are best for veg..
