I recently received a few free germination kits with a seed order but no instructions. Anyone have experience with these discs?

those are peat pellets, I use them everytime I germinate seeds. soak them in water for 15 mins or so until they completely expand and put the seed in. As soon as they sprout I plant the whole pellet in soil.

Is it ok to rewet the pellet if it gets dried out before sprouting occurs?

yes, but use an eye dropper or something, don't flood it. Alternately you can water it by wetting it from the bottom. You don't want to drown the seed.

They'll generally stay wet enough to sprout the seeds though without rewetting.

After the pellet is wet, use a toothpick and make a hole about 1/8" deep, drop your seed in and use the tooth pick to cover the seed up. As long as you get it under a light as soon as it sprouts, you can leave it in the peat until see roots exit (which is sometimes just a matter of hours), at that point you can bury it as deep as possible in the soil, and counter what stretch has happened up to that point.

It should have come with a small plastic box with a clear dome.

Keep it in there so it stays moist and does not dry out.
