i think those jiffy pots are a terrible curse. i remember a grow a while back where this guy started his seeds in juffypots and never removed the cloth on the outside. is plant was over 2 months old and stunted as hell it looked like it was no older than a week or two old

i guess if used right, they could prevent ever damaging your seeds, but i never had any problems doing it the old fashioned way

I will give those a try. I am growing diesel ryder so I will plant a lot of seeds over time... heh
Anything that cuts the risk of damaging the all important taproot has gotta be a good thing.

I am germinating in some paper towels. How long should I let the tap root get after it cracks the seed before I put it in my soil? Is there more or less success depending on how long it gets?
