Germinating Seeds Question

So I planted some HSO Amherst Sour Diesel seeds and a Cheese Auto from Canuck Seeds Straight into the medium I was using without germinating or soaking seeds prior. (Tupur coco coir mix)

Will they still germinate?

The method I usually use is the paper towel method which never fails me but I decided to do things differently this grow.

What should I worry about when germinating seeds straight in the soil?
Should I have my light on schedule 18/6 or should I wait till I see growth?

Its been about 3 days since I planted the seeds, no signs of growth yet.
Temp is around 70F-75F
Humidity: 60%-70%

Coco isnt soil 1st of all, no nutritional retention at all

So I'd be afraid it dried out since you need to water Coco so much

The type of “medium” I’m using is called Tupur I amended it with dry amendments 4-4-4 all purpose and a few other things I’ve seen a guy named MrCanucksgrow grow like this and plant his seeds straight into his amended medium and he’s had some very good success with it.

How deep into the medium did you put the seeds?

Tupur is like a coco coir mix but it also has some other organic products already in it that kinda makes it similar to soil.

Good. Just be patient. The seed should be moist, but not laying in saturated medium. I usually get seeds pop out of my medium after 2-3 days, but it can take several more than that sometimes.

Whatever you do, don't go digging in the medium to look.

Kind of guilty of doing that to one of them but patience is key I just can’t wait till it starts blowing up in growth!

Hey guess what I came back from work and checked on my plants and the #3 pheno of my Amherst sour diesel has breached the soil! Let’s go!! 3 more need to breach can’t wait!

Cheese auto has now also breached

They should. Nature is funny that way. Lol. I do something similar. I sprout it jiffy pellets then straight into the coco loco
