Germinating Refrigerated Seeds

I've been keeping seeds in the refrigerator for the past couple weeks but I'm ready to germinate them now. I will be using the moist napkin method to do this.

Can I immediately start germinating these seeds or is there anything I need to do to them first before germinating?

just do it.

and you didnt need to store the seeds in the fridge, theyll be fine for, what? atleast 2 years if there kept dry

I have kept my seeds in the refridgerator for about a year all mine germed no prob. I read that you want to keep them in the fridge for at least 2 months somewhere but I killed my seedlings so I took some seeds out of the fridge aftyer 1 week...again germinated fine.

If you freeze them wouldn't that just help in trying to imitate the seasons therefore speeding up the process?
