Germinating In Cold Conditions?

Hello,

Temperatures in my house during the night reach below 15C and during the day it is roughly 18C, how can I germinate seeds in this climate?
Could I germinate them in a grow box? What other methods could I use to combat the cold?
Thanks.

EDIT: I am aware of the typo in the heading, sorry!

If you are germinating in rockwool or another root cube, you can put a heating pad under the rockwool. Just keep it on low tho, so you don't overheat them.

Put your seeds in a little seal-able plastic container with water, get a heating pad and lay it on the ground, fold it in half, put a towel over it, put the container on that, then set it all in a box and put a lid on the box, you should be good to go. Cut a hole in the box to let the cord come out, adjust the heat accordingly, i usually use the hottest temp with the towel to stop it from getting to hot, or u could do low with towel, as long as it keep the water and the air in the box warmer then the air outside.

I germed this years crop outdoors(no greenhouse) early March, temps where around 40F-45F during the day at night was just over freezing and they came out good. When I grew indoors I used a lil bendable desk lamp

And I put folded up wet paper towels in a 16oz party cup with the seeds inbetween them under the lamp to keep them warm. It was pretty effective

I use the wet paper towel method inside a metal biscuit/sweet, put near some source of heat computer/lamp/radiator etc.. seeds split within a couple of days to a week

Use a horticultural heat pad and keep them moist. When sprouted use a grow box (not a dome) too get temps up and keep steady at 25-26.
