germinated seeds wont sprout?!

So a couple weeks ago my feminized kushberry came in. I germinated 3 of em and planted em' in to plastic cups filled with a nice airy soil and stuck em in my dome under a cfl to sprout. It's been a week or so and theres been no signs of growth:wall:. I've grown before so this seems quite unusual compared to past experiences where I've had sprouts in just a couple days. Anyone who knows what the problem might be or has any advice, your help would be appreciated.

yea ive had the dome on a jiffy heating pad that came with the dome so I'd imagine that heat is quite sufficient. also, do yu think the seeds are still saveable? or have they most likley died by now?

Are you burying the entire seedling? I always just lay the seed on top of my soil and spray it down good and put it in my grow room for the heat in the 19 inch tray so I can do at least 12 at a time. I found that covering the cups with large cardboard keeps it dark yet warm due to 400w hps. The seed pops in 2-4 days and then I take a tooth pick and poke a hole and guide the tap root in the hole and make sure the seed is above ground and only has to push the shell off. after the seedling grows about an inch and a half I fill the cup with more soil up to the leaves and move it under the lights to keep my stems nice and thick. I forgot to mention when I fill the solo cup with soil I leave about an inch or a bit more below cup level so after the seedling pops and grows its skinny ass about an inch I bury that inch up to its neck and then Its on Baby. If you do this and its warm and it dont pop then your seeds suck or you may have a strain with this trait. Good luck man warm the seedlings more if you havnt already and get the seed above ground and dont bury it anymore. Just the way I do it others can offer other ideas but this is my seed pop recipe. I have never had to wait more than 5 days for a seed to pop with the strains I have been growing. take a peek and make sure its not growing sideways if you buried it. Good luck man

Couple things you can do here.

First, if you remember where you planted your seed in the cup, you can check the status of the root. Keep in mind though that by doing this you will delay the sprouting process a day or two since you disrupted the root growth. But, you will know if your seed has dried up or not.

Next thing you could do is just say fuck it and be optimistic. I know you said you have grown before, but is it a possibility that you planted them to deep? If that is the case take a layer or two of soil off the top.

last of all, you could always germ until the Calyx appears. this seems to be a 100% sure fire way unless you let it dry out during the Germ process.

There are much more ways to handle this small problem, but these are a few methods I have used and they have worked EVERY time for me. :leaf:
