word of mouth isnt always what you want to go by, you need to see and read the information for yourself, and understand why it needs to be, vinegar is not a good choice, but if you dont even know how to check the PH of your water, why even add it? your water was probobly around a ph of 4.0, which isnt good at all.

i have LCD computer screen so i can't do it that way. Oh ya and i put a cap full of vinegar just to be on the safe side.
dude if you used a capful of vingar you ph is gonna be way to low. dont fuck with ph if you have no way to check it. you probably already ruined everything. i bet your ph is lower that 2.0.

patience young grasshopper. Hope the seeds didnt suck up the vinegar but you probably fixed it before it had a chance to ruin anything. Expect a sprout in the next 24-48 hours is my guess. You will notice the seeds getting bulbous or cracking as first signs of life.

first off, i would should soak them in a coffee mug of water for about 24hrs..the "viable" or "good ones" will sink and the "bad ones" or "ones that need more time" will float..that should also help with your "vinegar goof" you made earlier... once you know which ones are good, then you should move them to the paper towel method.. wait about 3 days for the hormones in the seeds to start working and you should notice a small taproot about 1/4" long sticking out of the pointy end..and then you plant, and make sure the soil is moist for about another 3 days and then it will be standing up on its own..put it under a fluoro light and mother nature will take over until its time to water, feed, and control lighting

thanx fir your help guys. i think i messed up at the start but i would rather mess it up during the germinating process then mess it up when its flowering. but maybe it can be ok because i rinsed them off real good with hot water then i used a new ziplock bag and a new napkin and fresh water but not vinegar this time.

hot water is a no-no.. and make sure ur water sets out for 24hrs before you use it...germination is one of the worst times to mess up..the new born is so weak, the slightest thing can kill it..

like a branch might break from a light falling on it during flowering, and the plant will be ok..but if a light falls on a seedling...

ok so i just checked it agian it was the 34 time i checked no wait 31 times but anyway it cracked a lil bit and i can see a white sprout inside. i think the vinegar and hot water made it work better.:blsmoke:
