Isn't it amazing how many successful, and seemingly normal people smoke pot, and yet the government doesn't even pay attention to them. The government goes off of what they see on cops, or they still have a reel of Reefer Madness they use as proof of how lethal it is haha. Does anyone else feel like the government doesn't even really know what goes on in the majority of America? I mean if they all just went and stayed at FDD's house for a day, or smoked a bong with Michael Phelps wouldn't they see that we're not all psycho criminals? I don't think I know a single pot head that *is* a psycho criminal. We have family's, good morals, and care about other people just like any other good people would. Some aspects of America really suck, you know?
 
I'm sure there are people in govenment that were looking forward to seeing more gold hanging around his neck in 3 1/2 years. Now that he's broken a stupid law that they perpetuated, and his career is in jeopardy, maybe they'll think it over.

I'm sorry for Phelps, I'd hate for this to ruin his career, but it couldn't have come at a better time for the rest of us. Obama's 1/2 brother being arrested in Kenya for a joint is another mark in our favor.

Marijuana...... the recreational choice of the brothers of leaders....... and Olympic champions! :clap:
 
Of course the story behind the story is how Obama's half brother lives (shanty town)..... or perhaps put another way how Obama treats his own family.

Here's HOPING that Obama does right by his brother now that he has drunk from the golden chalice.

I think he's only met him once or twice but still, leaving your own brother in a shanty town like that? That's a pretty cold move. I'm not saying he should buy him a palace but damn, can't he get him at least a step up from Shanty, whatever that might be? Shack, I suppose?

Awwww damnit. When are pot smokers everywhere going to realize that we have to stand up for ourselves? What a pussy(pardon my language). Why doesn't he just say he uses it as a stress reliever and its good for joint pain, both of which are true? Its the only way we are ever going to gain the respect of our peers, by making it clear that smoking MJ is NOT a mistake. Dare I say, its even beneficial to most who smoke it. I don't even have a problem talking about it with my boss, because she knows I am a reliable, honest, hard-working individual. Now that she knows its possible for pot-heads to be the aforementioned, her views on the subject have changed accordingly. Beware though, a certain rapport must be established before attempting to change someones opinions when they've been conditioned by the media for years and years...
 
He's not sorry he did it, he's sorry he got caught.

The mistake was hitting the bong in a room where there were other people and a camera. He should have done it privately.

Lesson learned, he's only smoking alone in a dark room from here on out. :bigjoint:
