General Question on Rooting Hormone

Fellow Stoners,

I have a rooting hormone powder which contains the following :
  • Indole Butyric Acid (IBA) and a complex of growth substances and adjuvants to induce rooting
Just wondering if it has the same contents as the rooting hormone you guys have. This is the stuff which will help my clones 'grow up' once I've snipped them off mother tree, right?

Cheers.

I used to use Olivia's Cloning Gel, but discovered that it deterioates over time. After switching to Rootone Powder, I get almost 100% success with cloning. I know you asked for ingredients. Sorry I don't have the answer for ya ... but its just a cutting rooting powder at you can buy at any nursery.

There's no expiry on this kinda stuff, right? It's kinda difficult for me to find these kind of products at where I'm at and a bottle of 50 gms costs about USD 1.37. I was thinking of purchasing more of these and keep em. Good idea / bad idea?

If you look them all up online, they ALL have the same active ingredient: Indole-3- Butyric Acid 0.1%.

I'm under the impression that powder works better than gel.

Always had good results using the powder. Our local alternative medical outreach program (AMOP) uses powder when teaching medical marijuana card holders how to make clones.
