GDP discontinued

I don't know about a family heirloom. However, an heirloom is a seed that is removed from a bud with a knife and started in a paper towel from a plant that is in the same family as the plants in the vintage catalogs. The seed doesn't have to come from generations of farmers.
Basically, an heirloom is the exact opposite of what you think it is. It is an unadultered, unhybridized traditional cultivar. There are no "GDP heirlooms" outside of a seed company advertising blurb designed to make you think you're buying something with a long tradition behind it when you're actually buying s1s of some other seed company's work (most likely another GDP knock-off).

I have Ken's original GDP seeds along with f2's I made, got them when the guy that went to dungeon vault genetics was still with Ken. His partner actually gave me a couple free packs for doing a grow report on Icmag. Regardless of Ken being deceptive, the 'real' GDP cut being better and all that, the smoke I got off of those seeds was so damn good.

Not the strongest high, I would guess in the teens for thc. Super mellow and trippy sometimes as well. Not a downer type high at all. Hope Ken is doing well but suspect not. I have not grown or smoked GDP in years as I have been on a sativa safari, but they are certainly a great hybrid type of high for me and will get grown again someday.

Its great to hear your results with the seeds. I found a stunning male that I used to make more seeds with. I been hunting through them and have came across multiple winners some not even resembling true gdp in looks or high and some that do
