my super silver haze update
I switched the lights over to 12/12 34 days ago
and they started to flower about 3 weeks ago (20 days)

SAM_0426.jpg SAM_0430.jpg

my plants are looking good but didn't check the temp/humidity over last couple of days and some of the lower leaves have turned yellow
and the temp went from 15c to 30c and the humidity 40 to 69.
so I have put a oil filled rad in the flower room, on a timer so it comes on when the light switches off
as the temp goes up the humidity will drop so all good, I hope in a couple of days

The oder level is starting to get very strong
and the are plants putting buds and resin on fast :weed:

What feeding schedule do you use?
hi fandango

can give you a basic ideal how I feed them in bizz all-mix soil, (and I give them water for the last 7-10 days before i chop them)

add 1 teaspoon of epson salts in 10ltr of water + nutes in week 1,3,5 of flower ( dissolve Epsom salt in a little boiling water first )
add 1 ml grow per 1ltr in flower, but if i get some yellow leaves at the base of the plant increase it to 1.5ml per ltr
starting from week 2 of flower (12/12), add 2ml of bloom working up to 3ml per ltr.
add 2-3 drops of Super-thrive to every feed

I don't use any boosters

I feed the plants this way as the ph stays round 6.5-6.7 and the ec is about 1-1.2 without the epson salts, may want to leave the grow nutes out when you add epson salts

keeping the ph round 6.5 and the ec low, keeps the roots/plant healthy
by doing this, I don't have to adjust/check the ph and ec level because I know its away good

your tap water may have a different ph level so it may not work as well for you, on the first few feeds check the ph level, you may need to adjust them with ph up/down but try to find a feeding schedule that keeps the ec 1-1.5 and the ph round 6.5

good luck

thanks

These seedling are 9 days old from seed and most of them have roots
7 seeds germinated and grown between 1.5" and 2.5" so i kept these for now and put them in small pots with some soil and ph water to 6.1

I will raise the ph over time to 6.5

The other 3 seeds have started but as they are slow and weak, i only wanted the strongest seedling
so i throw them away
Hello friend, i see this post is very old however i will be taking a crack at growing the lovely SSH here soon. i would like to know what soil is ideal to purchase, since sativas are very finicky and suffer from nute burns often.
