Code Enforcement doesn't need a warrant to write a $18,000 infraction....

Code Enforcement Officer only needs to write a couple of infractions a year to cover their salary, the rest is all gravy for the county. They will send them out again & again..it's free money

To get inside your property they do need a warrant. How do they know you have them? They can't just walk in your backyard.(Unless OP let them on his own accord) Laws my friend. And it would only be a 6k in fraction if he is a legal patient as state law trumps county law.

They already knew he had the plants. & there is a outdoor ban in Butt county. And yes they are prepared with warrants standing by when they do enforcement raids...

CBD, have you ever had your house turned upside down & inside out by a search warrant?...they turn everything upside down. They turn over all the furniture, dump all the drawers on the floor, they will look into every nook & cranny. it looks like a bomb went off when they leave....they will be looking for guns & money & other things at that point.

Once again state law trumps county law. Just like how Federal trumps State... Your rec is licensed by the state legally allowing you to grow on your property. Yes it is a grey area, but I would fight it, but thats just me.

Yes I have actually. I have one of those terrorists come into my house saying someone called 911 and didnt say anything on the phone, so they were worried ( I was the only one home) and they need to check the house. I said bring me a warrant they said they didn't need one, I threatened them, and with my 3 big dogs barking, they aswell threatening them, had to call back up to come in my house. So yes I know the BS they can cause/do. Luckily I also know my rights and hence my garden is still thriving, and I haven't been shot by one of them.

To regulate the dispensaries. The amount you can grow is regulated by how much land you have. Most lots not even being a quarter acre are subjected to the 6/6 rule.

I'm about to walk in have the meeting with this lawyer . I'll throw whatever money I need to into making these fucking ass holes pay . I'm fortunate enough to be able to do this and if everyone who can sue should sue . We can't let these pigs think that the dumb pot heads of the world are going to back down . I'll probably lose but next time they see my name maybe they will think twice before fucking with me

One of my best friends who lives and grows in the same county just finished his criminal justice degree, and his dad is a sheriff. He says it only takes 15 mins to get a warrent to rip plants and I believe him. Unless you have any evidence besides your opinion I'm going to listen to the expert.
