Game over?

Hi!.
I've chopped my plant today and i saw the white cloud between the buds, its just infected 2 branches at the very top of it

.

But what is the reason for this? is it that I have to high humidity in the tent or to low air flow mabye?

Can i smoke the rest of the plant who dident get effected by this white cloud? or its game over and just do the hole thing over againg?

yeah sorry budrot if the other ones are alright i smoke it but you should pull them apart and give a good inspection you can also wash your buds in h2o2 for extra security and dry them faster with a fan pointing at them after the wash and definitely bag those rotten colas and dispose and as for your other question yes high rh and not enough movement

I will inspect them very closely before the selection and check out the h2o2 method :eyesmoke:

few things I can notice.

1.bud rot. Now this could have been brought in with air if youre intaking your air from outside. Or could be lack of air movement or high humidity or a combination of all of the above.

2.your crispy dead leaves could have contributed to it. Simply because as a leaf becomes necrotic and dies off it can break down and begin to decompose, this decomposition if left in place on the plant can give the ability for botrytis (budrot) to take hold.

I’ve had bud rot take hold due to 1 stagnant area in my room.

i found it was just missing any fan movement.

my solution was to house a fan under my canopy in that area blowing up through the canopy.

problem was then fixed.

I’ve also had budrot caused by dripping ducting that was intaking cold external air for my air cooled lighting rig (at that time).

the lighting rig was sealed (no grow air passed through it) and I used insulated ducting.

The issue for me in this situation was that where the insulated ducting connected to the air cooled hood created condensation on the outside of the connection.

This coupled with running a hydro system at that time meant I lost around 3-5oz to budrot.
