thanks, jus what i wantd to hear,im a heavy cal/mg user in my feedings.
No worries and they'll go mad for it mate, I can't get hold of botanicare nutes very easy if at all myself, so I use the Canna mononutrients to basically make my own extra added elements additive mixes used along with the base A+B nutes. Mostly the nitrogen, calcium and magniesium as and when needed. >>> http://www.canna-uk.com/mononutrients

I prefer hydro as I can be more in control of my plants and flushing is quicker too. I only just started using coco myself and tbh now I wont be using another medium as the coco is the best for my set up I've found

I'm having ph issues that I don't normally have and basically I'm not having the results I get from something like ocean forest. Switching out the OF for the #4 mix is the only thing I changed and the growth just doesn't seem to be the same

hmm, thats what im waiting to see here,i like the fox farm,it jus came down to the cost
it would take me 4 bags of ffof, and two bags of fflw, that would run me like $108.
as with sunshine mix,two bales cost me $64,now i know that im usein more nutes,so ill see how that go.

Does that Sunshine #4 have nutrients already mixed in? I use the Sunshine Organic Planting Mix (in the brown bag), and it is pretty much just peat and perlite (into which I mix all sorts of organic goodies).

no nutes at all.
Beginning with carefully selected ingredients and formulated by a team of professional horticulturists, the Sunshine Advanced #4 Growing Mix is made from high quality raw materials and provides an ideal growing mix for your indoor and outdoor growing needs.
The foundation of the growing mix is Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, sustainably harvested from carefully managed bogs in rural Canada. The peat moss is screened to remove large clumps and sticks and is blended with horticultural grade perlite and coir (a by-product of the coconut industry). Peat moss reduces the leaching of nutrients from the growing mix allowing them to release slowly over time. Perlite keeps air spaces open while coir combined with peat allows good water retention. This provides a balance of air and water that results in good root growth and the foundation for good stem and flower growth. Dolomitic lime, a starter organic fertilizer, mycorrhizae and an organic wetting agent are added to complete the mix. Lime adjusts the pH for optimum fertilizer availability; the starter organic fertilizer helps transplants establish; mycorrhizae assists in fertilizer uptake and the organic wetting agent helps peat moss absorb water better

i have tried that as well. but i like to add perlite to my fox farm and my sunshine mix. light warrior is too expensive for my pockets. mixing em also makes it easier for me to use my soil in my perpetual. because all stages tolerate it pefectly fine, from seedling to harvest.
