Maybe its an older guy thing! I'm 51 and have been blazing on an off since I was 16. But with these new age strains its a whole different ball game! Properly grown high grade is a little more potent than I remember some of the older strains to be. Plus in the 70's we smoked mostly Sativas in the Midwest USA. Some good quality some not so good. I remember that distinct smell it had. Kinda spicey and peppery I guess.

My advice for most smokers that have a tendency to freak out is to take 1 good hit of something new you haven't tried. Give it a few minutes and see what kind of effect it has. Then you will know how to titrate your dose.

I picked up some sativa last night that I didn't plan on buying because it smelt so good. Indicas and sativas have two completely different smells.

Im finishing my run of 5 in two weeks. Early sample from a smaller plant is whoa! I smoke a lot and its pretty strong. Its early but the pineapple taste is faint. its hard to finish a bowl. It hits you behind the eyes and gets you up and moving without too much anxiety. I usually cant finish the bowl. ( I smoke bowl after bowl of mid to highgrade ogs and jack herer variants) youre eyelids will droop the more you smoke and the indica comes into effect. High for 45 mins and then stoned for 90. Better than I expected.

Btw if you use great white on the seedling their roots become massive.
I ran out during germ and now I have 2 beast plants in 3 gallon pots that I feed or water every 3rd day and 3 normal plants in 3 gals that are kind of wimps in the nute dept.

No of course it's not I was just saying that when I picked up the indica it had it had that hard, pine, burn smell that a good indica will have. Then I checked out another jar not knowing what it was and it had a more earthy, lower profile smell like a sativa. I wanted it knowing that it was a nice sativa by that smell, I asked what it was. Sativa. That's what I was implying.

I grew out a Pineapple Express freebie a couple of years ago and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a resinous beast, with thick coats of resin, from top, to bottom. She was extremely easy to grow and very forgiving. She also had a sweet, and undefinable fruity, aroma/taste. The high was only average in my experience, but I'm glad I grew her, and would recommend her to anyone, especially to people just dipping their toe into gardening.

i couldnt remember exactly what the smells remind me off. i had to smell the trim and oh yea fucking hawaiian punch! the red shit. mmmmm damn i love that smell! make me want to smoke some of the trim right now lol

im gonna run mine a few more times just to make sure its stable and high quality. if i take too many clones by accident, i may need someone to take my trash out for me OG ;)
