Roots have yet to hit the water I let the PH climb out of control for 2 days  just was not paying attention I PH'd and corrected that issue hopefully I get some roots that hit the water here in the next few days I usually have roots in the water by 10 days.

I have never had issues with rockwool until now. I am about ready to yank these two seedlings and go grab some rapid rooter plugs, and start over.

I took the Great White Shark seedling and opened up the rockwool it had stalled and was failing fast! I removed the small root mass and placed it in the net cup without rockwool watered and am crossing my fingers, I plan on germinating 2 new seeds ASAP these ladies have not performed  and I need to get some ladies going.

It almost looks like I didn't have enough water in the DWC because the rockwool was dry. I raised the water level a few more inches maybe that will encourage some growth but I think I have stressed them to the max there I'd be lucky if they hermied for me lol

Low humidity, no doubt ! lol
Mine stays around 35% - 40% and 75F ambient.
I may end up removing some hydroton and dropping the rooters lower in the net pots.
I also believe the plants like the bottom of the pots submerged in the rez CONSTANTLY.

Came home and removed the PE from the rockwool just tore it apart and placed them in pure hydrotron I put the end of the tap root poking out of the bottom of the net cup. I will give them 7 more days and make a decision. I just started another White Widow if you all remember the first grow was AK48 & WW. The WW went hermie so was left with only the AK48. She was looking good up until she dropped a set lol

If after 7 days there is no improvement both of these will be trashed and new seeds will be germinated and placed in rapid rooter plugs instead of the rockwool

love to see when executive decisions are taken and followed thru...i do hate to read about the probs but youll come out on top no doubt..peace

I know the weather is hurting my young girls, low humidity cool nights with winter here, also my tap ph went from 8.5 to 10. I'mreally scratching my head lol
The PH of tap water changes depending on how long you let it run beforehand (to clear out stale water and accumulated minerals). I let mine run for 30 seconds and then adjust it from there. Don't use hot or warm tap water btw, it'll be old water that came out of your water heater. The best way to use tap water is to let it sit in the open for a day or two before you use it (to get to room temp and evaporate any chlorine), then adjust the PH.

Well, persistence paid off! I see some roots coming out of the Pineapple Express and a node, some life in her yet :hump:

The Great White Shark looks like she may pull through as well. I have not noticed any roots yet just crossing my fingers.

PH meter was way off which caused me to basically kill these ladies. If they don't recover quickly I will scrap them. Already germinated a White Widow lady in case one should fail.

I hear that I pulled the GWS and replanted it cleaned it off a little and placed back into the net cup with hydrotron rocks, placed lowest roots just poking out of net cup enticing growth. The PE looks to be in full stride! Roots coming out of the rocks. Here are some shots

GWS and PE are slowly going the PE has some new roots shooting into the hydrotron. I made a new veg reservoir lid complete with 6 sites for 3" net cups.

Caught this thread in its early stages! Subscribed and looking forward to watching the girls grow from their early stages. Was the PH problem you had with this the same one you had with your other plants? Also is it shitty meter or just calibration error? Glad to see you got things back on track man!
