If the plant yellows or looks bad, it's because of something you did at least a few days ago. If your nutes are there now and the pH is good, give it a couple days and don't freak out, stop messing with the nutes and pH and give it a week. They should start to look better in the next couple days.

Hey man I got a freebie Pinapple Express seed and I am growing it in dirt,
just germed it and planted it, waiting on the sprout.
It will be good to have something to compare it too.

Keep it up.

Dude, as long as you do what you're supposed to (good ph, easy nutes, good light, etc etc) those babies will probably be just fine. Cannabis is a VERY resilient plant - they can take a ton of abuse and bounce back. It's a weed after all :) - Think crabgrass & dandelions - how hard is it to get rid of those suckers?

haha preciate it bro..Ive just put so much into it and i dont wanna fuck up my first (true) time ya know..but i was wondering about how they will come back..will they need to make brand new leaves or will they revive the old ones..and should i take off the old yellow/dry brown leaves or just leave them until they fall off naturally?

I understand. Our grows are our children. That being said, communicate with your children - they'll tell you what they need and when they need it. Those leaves are probably shot, but if they're on there, they are doing something. Once new ones sprout and fill in, those can be taken off if you want. But like I said, it's all good - they'll be right back on track before you know it. The beauty of hydro/aero is that as quickly things can turn bad, they can turn good again.

Dinobelly, get out of here and stop giving hippie love advice with no actual help. After seeing your posts, I feel compelled to actually help this guy.

Don't take off the leaves unless they are falling off, ever. If you run your finger across it and it falls off, then take it off. When the plant is done using it, it'll let go. But, there are times when cutting leaves is beneficial to plant growth and can sometimes stimulate vegetative and root growth, but that's when your plants are doing well, not when they are trying to heal themselves. When your plants get better, we can talk about topping and FIMMing and stuff.

Dude, so we can really help you, what are:
1. Nutrients, additives & nutrient levels
2. pH
3. Temperature
4. Light and distance from the plants.

The second and fifth look like they didn't get burnt and they should do fine. The others were smaller when they got hit so they may come back, but it may take a while. And actually the first one looks like it might be a goner.

How much do you know about cloning and do you have a place for the next generation? The plant that makes it through a lot of ups and downs with a new grower and ends up still being badass smoke, is usually one that is really worth keeping.

Just a word of caution, I would cover that rockwool up, hide it from the light.. You will end up with algae growth and ph issues down the road... Alot of people just cover it up with some hydroton...

Nice set up, and best of luck..

Thanks for all the help everyone. For sirsmokes, heres the info you asked for
1. Im using advanced nutrients grow/micro/bloom but i only have bloom as of now due to cash shortage and recently put in 1/10th of the strenght it says on the nutrient calculator the have on their website and they seem to have responded well.
2. I have been using a liquid ph tester and have been keeping it between 5.5-6
3. The temp has been between 73-78 but when the nutrient burn damage was done i did not have a fan and my ac was not working so i bet that added to the damage.
4. I am using a 250 watt MH/HPS light that is 18-20" away and am currently using the MH bulb
I agree with you that the 1st one might be a goner but it hasnt gotten worse or better in the last couple days but the others have shown great improvment
heres some picks

On the cloning I have never done it before but I was thinking about learning so I could clone the seed that I gave away in the beginning of this batch, if one of these doesnt work out but I am definitely a noob to that aswell haha

on the covering the rockwool with hydroton i will once they get bigger because i dont think i should do it when they are so little..Sound good?

I usually grow in hydroton and it's beneficial to cover the rockwool so it doesn't get green and moldy/algaey.. You're doing great, have fun with it. If you have the time and space, let them get big enough to clone and then give it some practice.

ive been told rapid rooters or plugz are better than rockwool because it retains too much water...i just switched to neoprene collars though

Neoprene collars are where it's at! However, if you're a cheap-ass like myself, you can always go to your local Mao-mart for some pool noodles and slice those bad boys up - works just as well as those deals they sell at the hydro store but for a lot less $!

So theyre finally got back in full force!..got the rest of my nutes and a ppm meter..if someone could give me some guidelines on ppm levels that would be great..Ive looked it up and cant tell if i should constantly keep the nutrients at a certain level or should i wait till they eat them and start will it full and fresh. A problem I did run into was that my electricity went out since friday and wont be back on till monday..I put the plants near a window to get some light but will the change in light make it start flowering or can I just keep my lights on 24 hours a day when the lights come back on like i usually do.

Heres a pic and thanks!

Just ordered my PE from Attitude yesterday. I also saw scottyballs thread on his PE with a 400w CMH insane! Hopefully yours bounce back man! AN should have a feeding chart on their website for guidelines on feeding. but since their only a few weeks old I wouldnt go over 500ppm.
