Noticed some algae starting in my water level tube. Changing out water, removing the tubes and sealing the hole with wine corks.

It's crazy how fast these two are growing. The one is still way behind but starting to grow a bit. I'll start adding progress photos when she starts catching up.

You can’t have any light get into where the roots are. The slots in your home made net pot are too high up allowing light in. White lid also is no good.

I'm swapping out the lids for blue ones when I get paid Friday. Broke af right now. I'll place some foil over the net pots too, thanks for the heads up.

Checked ppm and ph around lunch time, ppm dropped to 96 and ph went up to 7. Will monitor closely and make adjustments as needed till next water change.

Quick fix lol, hope that'll be sufficient for now.
Get the 5g net pot lid or if you want DIY use a styrofoam layer on top then carve out an insert for the net pot. Also pH will flux if you use straight tap water. With dwc run RODI or distill water for 2 -3 days before using it in your reservoir. Nutrients should be ok try general hydropncs next time +keep an eye out on root care no.1 thing don't let them rot/feed them half recommended dose & gradually go to full dose in flower will help keep your plants healthy.

Swapped out the 3w airpumps for an 18w. Huge difference. Those little cheap whisper pumps can't measure up.

What happened to your covers? The lights are just heating up your pails and the blue lids dont block all the light.

The "covers" i had at first were made with white lids and just had some foil over top to block light. The blue ones fit better and I haven't had any water temp issues.
