Funny Smelling Buds

Just got a deal on some meds... or so I thought. I looked at em, felt the buds and even smoked a joint.

But forgot to smell em.

Anyways they smell smokey and my friend said he thinks the guy had stuff from a house that caught on fire.

Is there anyway to fix the smell? The bud is apparently safe because it made it into this dispensary that checks your stuff out pretty good.. help!

Apparently the dispensery forgot to smell it while he was doing his thorough investigation.
Probably a friggin pothead.

Its kind of messed up because they even check for mites and mold etc. Dude is definitely a hippie pothead but that's his job..

But I'm the dummy for not smelling it I guess. Right now I'm trying to find a way to get the odor out. I think charcoal bags may work. They pull Smokey smells out of the air right?

Or I'll just resell as the new super strain "beef jerkey" haha

Im not sure but my buddy came back
from cali with a bag of something
that smelled like that. It was very dark and weird.
I assumed they had used smoke to get rid of bugs or some weird shit.
Only smelled it once but I won't forget it.

Some people use sulfur burners to rid mites in flower.
This may have carried over to the flowering buds on the
plants the buds came from.

I would give these a miss, use them for cooking if you must, but most fires in a house, have plastic noxious gases that may affect these buds, then you smoke the noxious particulates ....no thank you ...treat as moldy bud and eat or give away

Well at the moment I'm about to buy $400 worth of stuff to turn this into oil..

But I fear I will be taking a loss for sure. Not including the cost of equipment. It'll be a first time thing for me but I think I can get someone to help and I'm buying nice pyrex and glass etc. Only thing is its effing freezing outside

I'd still like any other opinions. Right now I got some fruit and bread in a bag in my jar that is helping but not enough.

The stuff looks amazing. The trichs are there. The puff is there. Shit I smoke it and it taste fine.

BTW anyway I'm able to shout out at a moderator to possibly move this thread. I realized it may be in the wrong spot and would like a few more potential views

We all run into problems which is great having the RIU community to share suggestions with. Thanks and peace out
