Full Strength Super Soil.

Has anybody else ever used full strength super soil without mixing with plain soil? I've been growing Querkle in straight super soil and I have not had any issues with nutrient burn. My plants turn out frosty as hell.

Im not sure of the point of this post. You obviously think your on to something when the recipe clearly indicates not to use it at full strength.
Its twice as costly to use in this manner and while that one plant for you is going well you will find its rare.

Sub

Sub - what's the dirt on new beans? I finally went after some Ace of Spades and Plushberry and those cats in Ann Arbor are competely out of everything. Guess this means your flavors r hitting MI in a big way right about now... refill please! thanks

Sub, obviously I mean you no disrespect when I try variations on your methods. I think that your strains are some of the best that I have come across, bar none. The only reason that I used straight super soil without mixing with the plain roots is that I ran out of roots. I was under the impression that this would nutrient burn my plants, but it seems as though they flourished. Here are some pics of my querkle plants in veg (pic 1 and 2) and my flowering querkles that are 3 weeks into flower (pics 3,4, and 5).

I have also used it full strength. one plant came out fine. 3 others got burnt like ive never seen before....killed off some pretty nice AOS... :( w/e works for you really.

I say if it works for her it works. Every strain is diff. and will take this and that. But you know this.

You definitely have a lot of unused food in full strength soil for sure. I have querkle kicking ass at the moment 30 days in. Sub, if you run querkle out do you find you need a little more than 25% for her?

So you're saying that you run querkle with only 25% super soil? I've tried 50% super soil before and I noticed a lot of yellowing half way into flower.

You also have to take pot size and veg time into account. 50% Supersoil in a 10 gallon pot is WAY different than 50% Supersoil in a 3 gallon pot. Naturally, big plants eat more than small ones. Just call me captain obvious... :-)

I veg in 2 gallon smartpots then I transplant into 7 gallon smartpots for flower. The veg time is usually 1 month. I start from clones each time.

Here's some pics of the finished product:

correct. day 34 flowering will get pics when lights are on...I hope mine doesn't...but if they do I will top dress them, I found on my flood tables that they just aren't as nutrient demanding as the Plush Berry or my sativa dom strains, but rather feed light as GDP, or my particular cut of diesel which is heavily indica influenced. I just feel its easier to add if you need to than trying to throw as much on there as possible because I have killed several. And like someone posted above it's all about pot size too...I run 3 gallon pots so 25% is probably slightly exaggerated on my part, probably like 15%.
