i was hoping you had an answer, lol - they only do freebies over the holidays. I've had great luck with all I have ran from them so I am pretty sure these will be good, too - can't wait to check out some trippy thai, lol!!

i bought it because i always wanted to try thai. you asked, i'll tell you...
indoors, it is one fussy bitch of a plant to grow! it won't let you peek under the dress until you transeplant it to at least 2-3 gallons (i had to transplant mine 3x from a cup, to a one galling to a 3 gallon, with it STILL bitching about being root bound) and wait something like 4 months, and THEN, expect the possibility of seeing hermies! yes, that's a natural thai trait, but man, after all that crap just to sex it when i was on a second grow with 2nd ten gals already deep in flowering, i'd had enough and cut it down, and i'm pretty sure it kicked a couple of my gals up and that it wasn't stray cinderella pollen.
when i cut it down, the TINY starter buds smoked very stoney. i've compared notes with another member here that was able to give it the time and space it needs, and he said it was indeed trippy. the thing that really did impress me though was the authentic juicy fruit (aka tutti fruity as in old school rainbow lollypops) flavor that was just too freakin' awesome. some day i'd like to try again, but only outdoors and started in at least 5 gallons with extras to purge hermies as they might still appear. i wouldn't trust it in femmed form though as nirvana (same company) has a rep for bad fems & autos.
if you're just after the high, and not the flavor, holy smokes' malawi gold flips MONTHS faster and makes a better THC profile early on. i SWEAR there's a conspiracy to keep me from growing gear that gets you high as i've had nosy neighbors and landlords invading my privacy and making me wait a week and a half after "inspection" dates while my plants stress out in storage as i had to cut my malawi gold down too because it got hot spot burned the night i forgot to turn my fan on to shut a cupboard slamming bitch of a neighbor up about my fan running in the daytime.
i'd grow malawi or one of the other 14 weeks or less saliva dome before thai. you really need to give that one a ton of TLC and patience to get the delicious flavor and trippy high it's famous for. i got virtually no psychoactivity about 2-3 weeks into flowering when i noticed my wench had balls after the other one started with them.

I am going to get a greenhouse going this next year and when I do I am going to run a bunch of long flowering plants in it - got some haze's I want to give full diligence to, might as well add these to the mix - sounds like its a hell of a stone if you can finish it.

if you want hazes...
holy smokes' malawi gold & high quality seeds' haze x skunk are both really nice and way more co-operative. personally, i think haze skunk is a little better than columbian gold. it's not quite as visual maybe and nothing i've smoked has that same "walking on air" effect, but haze skunk is stickier, more potent and long lasting, less expansive, and best of all, even after a month of wake and bake on it, there was still absolutely no stone in the buzz where i used to have to take a week off gold to get my tolerance back down and get the stone out of my system. it's just $30, and it makes a bunch of single buds ever inch or two! i'd love to see what it does when you flatten it out and it makes 50 "top colas". 12 weeks isn't shabby for a haze either.

i already love DNA's stretchy but fast ass finishing 9 week sweet haze! it's stickier, fruitier and trippier than any other sweet haze, jack or thai i've tried so far. haze x skunk is more potent, but not as refined. mine tasted like cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray, but i still say my landlord was fucking with my grow because he couldn't catch me with the surprise inspection thing as i'd tear everything down and pack it up with every notice. if the C13 haze is their "haziest", then i really got to try it! their lemon skunk isn't shabby in it's own right either
two "hazes" you might want to try that are co-operative and that i've read a lot of praise for on the trippiness level are TGA sub cool's jack the ripper (50% JTR jack's cleaner 2 is awesome!) and sannies' killing fields. i would myself if their names weren't an insult to my spirituality. JTR only takes 9 weeks and someone called it "the best indoor haze"
some day though, i really would like to try full moon again when i can give it the TLC it demands just to see how trippy it really is as durban's been compared to thai which was supposed to be one of the grippiest strains, but it was no better than a generic haze to me with that disgusting black licorice flavor that gave me (poison?) dry heaves. tutti fruity is much yummier at the very least.
don't forget, there's at least THREE kinds of thai. full moon is a highland thai (where fruity hazes & blueberry come from), but there's also meao and koh chang thai too. you might want to try one of those instead. those might be more co-operative than full moon.
if you want the "ultimate haze", according to cannabible, mekon haze (2x cambodian) is one of the most psychoactive pure strains out there. seeds are dirt cheap too, but i couldn't get my tiny little ones to pop indoors, but my room was a little chilly during dark cycles and i had viability issues with a lot of strains (landlord tampering maybe?) but found that i got near 100% viability from everything again when i got a humidity dome and heating mat. i'd suggest getting one for popping everything, but especially mekong haze if you try that. the seeds are tiny, and small seeds take longer to pop as i found out from saliva seeds' mixed sativa

As commonly stated, Full Moon is a bitch to grow indoors; but your reward is well worth it. And when I say it's well worth it, I mean F%$^@#*&S(@!!! I'm the epitome of stoned. And my mouth tastes nice, real nice.
I wouldn't recommend it for a first time grower. I ignored advice not to grow this as a first timer and it took 3 attempts to get it to flower completely.

thanks hazey!!! nice recommends, i will dig into them at once. i have some of shanti's nl5 x hz from around 2010, only ran a couple of seeds so far but what the hell - time to break them all out now, going in for surgery to remove a cancerous lesion on my liver june 6th so its time to hold nothing back anymore. i am in the process of cracking every single seed i have, (those i havent given away, lol) might as well go out with a bang,. brothers!! wish me luck. i grew out a killing fields x kali mist to 7ft in a closet under a 556 watt led. time to dig the rest of those out, the sam the skunkman sk#1 x hz, too.

I'm not having issues with mine. So don't let that whole "hard to grow" thing scare you. Mine have actually been quite resilient. They've haven't always got the proper ph and they have got pretty cold like 50F and pretty hot like 105. and they haven't given me any issues. Only issue is, i have 3 plants and all 3 are different phenotypes. 1 mostly-indica looking, probably be done around 8 weeks. another more sativa one, probably gunna go 9-11 weeks and the last one is really sativa and i think it will go the whole 14 weeks. Wish the strain was more stable, but hopefully the results are worth it
