That's not the issue. The issue is she switched to 24 hrs darkness, then 24 hrs light(veg) for a day thereafter. She wasnt fucking asking you if you switch to 24 hrs dark or not
She didn't ask ME anything . She asked for opinions , I gave mine . If YOU don't like it , FUCK YOU .

Most growers have tried this shit at least once or twice in a controlled setting, it doesn't make a difference and if you grow from seed, dont say it does. You can shock them into pre-flowers by going from 24 to 12/12 but, the same thing happens going from 24 to 18(veg).

It doesn't matter if your lights stayed on for 24 hrs after a 24 hour dark period, just as long as you arent in full on flowering and even then it won't matter unless you did it more than once in a week or two.

Just carry on and the only thing you'll notice is an extra day of stretch.

Yes same thing happens when u switch from 24/0 to 18/6. Its a minor stress response that tells the plant something is about to happen. 48hrs dark is even better. Especially if you add a pretty high load of phosphorus and flowering hormones like tricantanol (alfalfa meal or green planets massive) right before the flip, your week 2 flowers will look like week 3 flowers. That includes from seed. But I'll admit, it def does more to clones though

So your saying 48 hours dark before flip will either 1. Increase yield and/or 2. Finish faster?

From personal experience I'd say both for sure man. Nothing dramatic, but if I had to guess I'd say finish 1 week sooner and increased my yields by 10%. But to be fair the week sooner finish part, I also go to 13/11 last week and drop temps which I just so happened to incorporate about the same time as when I was testing the 48 pre flower. But yeah been doing it ever since.

If I had to scrap a plant for every mishap I’ve had growing, they’d all be in the trash. The idea is to not consistently and routinely introduce unnecessary stressors to your plants. They are adapted to growing on planet earth, where there is wind, rain, hail, pests, drought, and extremes in weather patterns. One light cycle mishap isn’t going to ruin your plants. Confuse them temporarily? Maybe. Permanently impact your grow? Probably not.

My timer stoped working altogether half way through flower the lights were on approx 36 hours. Just just put them back on there normal times and they were fine all the way up to harvest so don't stress.:leaf:
