Fuck!!!! Management told me to take out window ac!!

You can put a cooler with ice or frozen bottles and cut a hole in the top of the lid so that a fan can pull air out of the cooler I use this when camping at it can bring the air down 6-8 degrees in an enclosed area.

Increasing fans will do good so long as the temperature outside the tent is below 76 F that way your temps can increase to 86 inside there

i think i read from high times not to let temps get passed 85.

Not havin this A/C is killin me. My temps were at 99 with both 600s running, so I turned off tha HPS and have both buckets under 1 600w Mh.


I have 2 fans blowing at tha bottoms of tha buckets to at least keep tha rez cool and have some air circulating through there. I have a 500cfm inline fan pullin through both lights and a can 33 carbon filter at tha end to eliminate all smell from nosey neighbors.


I had to ghetto rig my exahaust/intake system today to vent tha heat from tha cooltubes, and draw in fresh cool air from the outside that im plannin on hookin up to a DIY ac.

I didnt have time to run to home depot today but im definately gonna hit it up tommorow. For supplies for my diy ac since bitch ass aprtment managers wont let me have an AC in my own room.

Anywayz, heres some pics of tha babies right now, Im bouta change tha res and put some fresh water and try to get my RO System workin so I can have pure water to grow wit. Ill probably add like 1/16 strength nute to get these seedlings up and runnin quick.

Heres both of these $40 a piece AIR KING fans I bought online. They aight, theyre supposed to be wall mounted, so I'll probably by some plywood to build some mounts so I can actually get them oscilating tha tent even better.

Hellz na, I put too much money into this to just forget about it. I NEED this to finsh with some top notch bud bro. Keep an eye on me, if I disappear, it means Im fucked and dont expect to see me for at least 2-10. But Im doin everything in my power to keep this up and runnin. Readin up on what cops need for a search warrent and if I have to let them in a locked tent?

Im makin this happin bro, no matter what. Im goin all in on this one bro. Do or die. Or should I say Do or get 2-10yrs TDC. But its all good though bro, I ve done my research and have gotten my risk as low as possible. At least im not in tha streets sellin nicks and dimes, ya know.

Get a small(second hand) beer fridge. Cut holes in the door of the fridge for venting the air into it, and then from the fridge, into your op. I got a buddy that uses deep freezers to cool down his op. You've got a lot of wattage going in that very small area. I really hope you can pull this off.

Your really going to need to find a way to get your temps below 85 and stay that way, hope it all works out.

timmy i know all about risk and over the years i have seen dozens of people get pinched including myself. i got nailed pretty dirty on felony charges and did less that 3 months in TEXAS

I always hope for the best for all users of this site. i know that apartment growing has huge risks but we all take risks at some level. I cant preach to anyone being i have priors and history yet continue to still produce. to say i am passionate about the plant anymore would be false. I haven't smoked any bud since august last year. I grow solely for the profit of it. So i feel you and understand. I have seen many jump start themselves from a apartment grow. Try to get it done fast and right then move up to something more safety minded. you sure have put alot of effort into making things safe.

My first bud was priceless. it was my second grow the first one was outdoors and had to be cut and trashed due to security. So but the time i moved indoors and harvested my first skunk #1 i was in 2795.00+ dollars all my friends thought i was crazy. very soon it was very profitable.

Like many others have said, WAY TOO MUCH LIGHT. You can get by with some florescent for at least the first week of veg, then up to 1 600w for the rest of veg.
Temps are way too high, and especially too high for dwc.
Drop the temps or your plants will be totally stressed, and heat will cause root rot in your rez.
Spoken from experience . Temperature was the source of every problem I have had.. As SOON as I got my temp dialed in, everything else fell into place.

Bro I was thinkin I could have a pepper plant or somethin growin under a cfl in some gallon DWC jug or somethin and have it just sitting out in tha open like right here by my computer in plain site, so they wont automatically think something illieagel if he has s plant growing thats not illeagel. As for tha grow tent Ill just tell them Im doin an experiment if I can grow tomatoes completley hands free and automated, and just tell them its locked becasue its a lot of moneys worth of equipment in there and I dont want people comin in tryna steal my things.

They ask me to open it? "Oh I left my keys at my girlfriends house, shes comin tomorow Ill show yall then". If they get too bothered about it and keep askin questions, Ill know Ill have to break down shop and either destroy or transport QUICK, before they get tha police over there with a search warrant for everything and get super busted. And have that Cilantro and jalapenos growin right here by my desk. Ima have to make that DIY fuckin A/C. And I have no car, so im walkin back and forth to home depot with only a backpack. Hopefully can find a small styrofoam ice chest at tha cornor store right here with some water bottles, to make somethin like tha Ice Box Heat Exchanger, but with frozen water bottles besides copper tubing. SoI just have to replace tha frozen bottles ever 4-6 hours. Not bad considering it uses no electricity and keeps management off my ass. Plus winter's comin up so by tha time I get both lights on itll be cold enough outside to veent air from out tha window to keep temps in tha 75-85s.

Just gave may babies 1/16th strength nutes and a fresh res change. I really needed those micro pore diffusers, but UPS fucked me on my package, talkin bout they delivered it to tha front door. I looked out that front door every 30 min. and never saw nuthin. And them bitch ass UPS people dont even give a fuck, proly got stole and no way I can prove it did. Fuck it though, Ill have to work with these cheap ass airstones. I'll work my ass for this if I have to change my rez every 2 dayz just to keep it loveley. Hopefully not tho.

I dont like smokin as much as I used to either I just like tha way it smells and looks and reminds me of tha good ol dayzof gettin blowed wit my brothers. Everytime I smoke now I get lazy and paranoid, so im mainly just on sober for upcoming drug tests for a job interview. So this grow will be for profit solely. I need at least a pound, 2 lbs would be tha shit.

This dude got over 1 pound with 1 600w HPS and 4 plants in a 4x4 space in a lil over 3 months. And he was in SOIL. I should grow quicker in these DWC buckets if I can keep tha temps down.

So I have 2 600w HPS in a 4x8 space. If I can keep Like his conditions I should be able to produce 2 pounds in 3-4 months, depends since I only have 6 plants and they're both 9-10 week flowerers. But they gonna be some DANK ASS SHIT. Thats all I need, and im gone out this apartment and out this state.

Oh, I was gonna ask, tha nutes I just put in on these seedlings are at 800ppm. Is that too high for seedlings?? pH is a steady 5.5. But will tha seedlings die at a ppm of 800ppm??

way to high!! have 2 autos that are in there second week of flower, anything over 700 burns them... I woould personally flush that out immediately, and fed them less then half of that...

I agree with sleeper, WAY too high! Personally, I never add nutes till about the 3rd or 4th leaf set, they simply don't need it. Seedlings are very tender and can't handle high nute ppm's. Don't forget your PH. PH drift happens VERY quickly, in fact, don't even THINK about leaving those plants unattended for more than a day or your PH will drift and you got big problems.

Alright, so flush and just use regular tap water for tha rez and top fed for tha seedlings? My tap comes out at 689ppm already so thats why its so high. I mean I barely put any nutes at all, like 1/16 of what they say on tha real Lucas formula, so its not an over powering nute solution.

I have an RO Filter, but it wont hook up to my sink without causing a leak somewhere. Is there a way I can hook it to my bathtub faucet somehow or what?

How can I get water to run through tha 1/4" tubing for tha RO filter with no way to connect to a sink or faucet or any water spout? Any other ways to force water threw tha RO filter??

Use distilled water, and PH adjust, until the you get the RO working. I'm not for sure on this, but RO water may need PH balancing also. I never use tap water unless I absolutely have to. If you do use it, let it set out uncovered overnight to burn the chlorine off.
I know you don't have a car, and carrying gallons of water would be a pain, maybe a friend could take you, it would be worth it in the end IMO...

Damn dude!!! Really?? 689ppm from the tap!? You have a tough situation there, with the heat, and now that water, lol? I'm lucky that my tap comes out at 50ppms... I know the supermarkets by me sell RO water for like 50 cents a gallon.. but you said you don't have a car, so it would be difficult to be hauling all that water all the time... and what reef said, you really don' need all that light right now, i'm sure it will come in handy later, but for now its overkill, good luck dogg!

you need to tap into the cold supply under a sink home depot should have fittings and adapters for that tubing

When I hooked up tha adapter to tha faucet for the RO line, it caused a leak for some reason underneath tha cabinet. I took it off and put tha old faucet head back on and no leaks.

I didn't wanna mess with tha pipes cuz I didnt wanna damage nuthin since im in a apartment. But if it really aint that hard, tell me what I need.
What parts do I need and what tools do I need?
