But that's not the case, he is renting this room with a family member and he never said it was his house just the room. smoking is one thing and can be hid but how would you feel if you didn't smoke or do anything illegal and one day the house you live in was seized because your roomie was secretly growing pot even though they were previously under investigation and refuse to stop? Which brings up another question, do the actual owners of the house know you want to grow or would you be hiding it from them too? He knew what the living conditions would be like before he agreed to move in so it's not cool to put other people's property in jeopardy.

I agree with you though that roomies like that one can be stubborn bitches as I have a best friend who's gf is completley against smoking and the only time he can blaze is while she's at work. Still though he respects that it's her house and goes outside because he knows he has no right to disrespect her wishes in her own house.

I cant understand why young people have such a hard time with growing in other peoples homes,lotsa disrespectfull young people on this site for sure,im not trying to dog you out but damm man,would you be happy if somebody you helped out by letting them rent a room from you was doing something that you felt very strongly against,im not talking about weed either,pick a subject or issue that you whole heartedly dissagree with & are 100% against in all situations.

How would that make you feel if the person you trusted to show you some respect dogged you out on purpose, & thought so little of you as to intentionally dissrespect your wishes,in your own home.

Paying rent has zero to do with respecting another mans wishes in his own home, Its about respect nothing more.

I agree with you unless this person is legal to grow. then it should be his right to grow his medicine as it is legal and the roomates shouldnt give a damn. But since it is an illegal thing you are doing that will ultimately affect them.. yeah your being an asshole by doing this. But hey... be who you wanna be... If you are over 18 and live in cali you can get a card no problem... if your over 18 and are a seriouse smoker.... you should move to cali..lol...

How can you be 100% against something in all situations?

If someone is that narrow minded about ANYTHING I would consider them to be pretty unreasonable.

How about if your landlord is devoutly christian and 100% anti muslim (not too uncommon in your coutry ATM I imagine), would I be wrong to practice Islam in his house?

Ignorance on Cannabis use is the same as ignorance on race or religious issues.

As long as no damage is being caused to someone else's property, or someone's life is being negetively inpacted upon.....what's the problem.

Respect goes both ways. I couldn't respect someone who didn't respect my choices in life.

what is so disrespectful about growin a lil pot? build urself a stealth box, computer case, sub box etc, use the DIY carbon filter, and nobody will be the wiser, if somebody is snoopin thru ur shit, then theyre not in much of a position to bitch about u disrespectin them

it does not really affect anybody, put the weed down for a lil bit, let the paranoia clear out a lil bit and think about it, u rent the room, u pay for it, its ur room, its like ur landlord gettin arrested bcuz he rented to sumbody that converted his rental property into a grow house, no cop is goin to hold sum1 else liable for a cpl plants in ur room, and thats even if the cops find out, and if they do, its bcuz u tld to many ppl, and then u deserve to get busted, u can get a nice grow with a cpl CFLs without affectin the power bill, considerin how many watts new technology draws, like flat screen tvs n computers

Are you aware of what respect means. Respect: "Willingness to show consideration or appreciation". Would you term growing pot in someone else's house that hated drugs as 'willing to show consideration'
