I have an Auto-flowering Ak-47. I bought It for the fact that it harvests in 3 months. I realized I made a rational decision. Because I also have a mother plant. I can have harvests from the mother's clones in 3 months. so why the fuck would i have a plant that yields an ounce in 3 months when a clone put straight to flowering can yield 3 times as much in 3 months! Stupid mistake.

Any one who wants an auto flowering stain for the purpose of fast bud think about it... A mother can give clones at 45 days old! after that you can get a harvest in 3 months. Same as auto flower with allot more yield. :weed:

That is very true.

But think about this. You have 1 mother - that took about 45 days to get ready for cloning. so give or take a month and a half. (and what if the mother was a father (by chance) - you would have to start over.
Autoflowering strains are meant to be done in 8 weeks, or 2 months. So by the time the mother plant is ready for cloning, the autoflowering has already attained some bud mass. Not alot, but notice able ammounts.
Sometimes people dont have time to start a mother, so they use an autoflowering.

Not to menchion - whens the last time you could grow an ak47 from seed to harvest in 2 months? (not clones, but seeds).

Personally, on an indoor grow, if they could mix purple diesal with ak47 and put it in the lowlife (lowrydr) or another autoflowering strain, i would buy it and do scrog's... (a lot of work yeah, but the outcome would be substantial..)


*edit* I have grown Lowrydr #2, landslide, and other strains, so my answer is not biased one way or another *just to clarify*

Yea for the mother I would start off with a feminized seed. don't want to make clones of males thats for sure! yea I said "Auto-flowering AK-47" thats Ak-47 crossed with lowryder 2, it harvests in 72 days I exaggerated a little when I said 3 months. If your going for variety its logical to grow auto-flowering strains. Though if your going for quick harvests I still feel waiting 18 days more with the clones is the way to go. The yield will be allot more and who likes germinating seeds and dealing with delicate seedlings...

i agree with 'fuck autoflowering strains' but they are good for people who do not have enough room for a veg and flower room

im a prime example of someone who would use an autoflowering seed.. space restrictions allows for me to onlyhave a veg flowering chamber... i have to have the suffering of one plant or five in the same room flowering at the same time over and over.. building a stadium seating for them will alow me to have a much smaller sog but with autoflowering my cycles only change as i germ more seeds with no need to turn the lights to 12 12 they start finish and harvest 24-7...

i have always been with the fuck auto flowering to

its not hard to start a few plants and grow a mome from one you can just clone the plants put em in flower and keep the female clones and they will be quite ready to take clones from when the others finish so your first one may take 4 months in stead of three

I like 'em. You can throw 'em anywhere in your garden. Did a seedrun with a 10 pack of the AKs I bought so now it's cost effective to just throw some in my mother box or in the corners of my flowering room. Can't ever have too much weed unless the cops are the ones weighing it out. They're pretty tough little plants, too, I'm guessing thanks to the ruderalis. Fairly newbie proof and all that. I can see not using them for your primary crop but they have their uses. And shit, man, outside I can get two-three harvests of them a season with a staggered plan ting regime and even if most of them don't yield even an ounce a plant that's free light, free space and therefore free bud thats coming in all summer. Something to hold me over until harvest time. Plus they hide in my yard alot better than a fifteen foot tall purple land-beast. I guess it's all in how you can use them but I think they're cool.

I wouldn'tsay fuck auto's. If I spend £40 on a pack of 10 reg auto's, I then have an endless supply of these seeds. Each plant gives off about an ounce in my area thats £135 so 1 plant pays 3 times over the seed price (okay it's the same for any strain but bear with me). Now if I plant my normal outdoor crop like I always do, and chuck out 4 female auto's every week, I still get my usual october mega harvest and i get fresh bud every week throughout the summer and a little income to tide me over. I can't understand why you wouldn't do it even indoors they take no space so can sit in the corner of your veg room and can be left unattended, you don't even need to feed due to their short life span!

you made a thread "dissing" autoflowering strains because you bought one and didnt need it? Isnt that your fault?

fuck autoflowring strains if you have a nice grow op and have room for big plants. But for people that have limited space and want good buds quick...autos are the way to go. There is a reason why they are so popular..
