FUCK!!! All my clones keep dying.

This is a pic of my clone setup. Ive bought a couple of clones now, this is the second one. I dunno how long till its dead but it looks like its almost there. I trimmed away the big yellow leaves. I put distilled water in the pan every 3-4 days and rinse out the old. Thats a 6500k cfl above the dome. Dome has two small holes. 82 degrees in the dome thanks to the heating mat. Misting twice a day with distilled water. Please gimme some help.

When a clone is ready to leave. it has roots poking out of the rock wool. Did they cut it just before you bought it? It should be established before purchase. Thats just my opinion. When you brought it home it can't get cold either. Put in bucket with plastic bag over bucket with little hole.That is for future tranportation info. Don't know about this one i see no roots at all. How long have you had it?

by letting them dry out a little you will force roots to grow to seek out water.

thanks man, think they will bounce back? Should i let it sit out in the light to dry it out? keep humidity in the dome?

i remove my dome after 3 days. i'd let them dry out a little but not too much.

you need the humidity til roots show. i think your light is too close... i know your light is too close. roots need humidity more than strong light. it should be atleast 18 inches from dome. i think thats your problem.

I dont use a dome at all not on a single clone I take.

well i have used a dome in the past... then tried it without one for a while. i am back to the dome. i think you have more percentage for your clones to take.

the best way ive found for clone servival is to put them in a completely sealed off humidity 80 % temp about 75%F root tone plus B1 is a must after about 10 to 14 days there ready to come out you dont need to mist them or let them dry out just leave them in there soke the soil good befor you put them in then leave them in and be patient

2 Much Light AnD 2 Much Water All The Plant Needs Is To Be Misted On The Leafs About 2 Or 3 Times A Day. The Rockwoll Needs To Be Damp Not SoAked.

grand daddy is right. you don't want your cubes sitting in a bowl of soup. they'll never make it that way. after you soak the cubes in ph'd water, shake out the excess like you're shaking a thermometer before use. not too hard. this is how damp/wet you want them to stay. roots need air to form/live. if it's sitting in that mess you'd be lucky to get roots. after that, check on them a couple times a day. i keep them wet with a spray bottle. give each side a spray or two and don't let them get too dry.

i use a dome , and when i mist the clones i use 30 ml/lt of jumpstart in the spray bottle it helps cuttings grow roots faster.mine are ready to plant 6 to 7 days with 99% survival rate. Peace

i just cut 35 clones within the last 2 weeks and i had 20 die trying to do that whole dome thingy and the method that work for me was cutting my clones throwing them in water real fast to avoid an air pocket in the stem, then i used Stem Root rooting powder and stuck them atleast halfway in the 1 inch rockwool cubes then i thru them in a little lid filled an inch high with water and filled the lid with hydroton then stuck the clones in there... i had a airpump with a 12 inch airstone the the water and have 2 4 foot fluro's hanging about 8 inchs above the plants...so far all my clones are alive and growing

Your rockwool is to wet. Keep the R/W damp this will let the roots grow down to seek moisture. And dont mist the plants when there that young. And depending how many watts your CFL is it should be a minimum of 10 inches away from tops until there about 10 inches tall then no closer than 6 inches. WAY TOO WET! You can see there turning yellow!
