Thanks guys, still unsure what to do but the fridge idea sounds cool.
My boss is a chilled out guy, and he knows I'm growing chronic (were good friends) so I could probably tell him what's up and he could give me the day off....

Hide it in the fridge, seriously. If everything else is in good shape, there's no reason for them to open it - it's airtight as well.

leave it near your plant (which is in a box) and buried under other shit - clothes, a table cloth and lamp, etc... Most people wouldn't think too hard about the odor if they saw a pelt of some sort.

is there a common laundry area in your complex? One where you could stash the plant inside of a big trash bag (tied)?

Chop it!!! 7 weeks is a good run. it wont get that much bigger.

i had to chop my whole harvest at about 7 weeks and the shit turned out great

I was just thinking about it and The fridge will also cover up the smell completely.

Think about when you leave some food with a strong smell in the fridge. You don't smell it until you open the fridge and then it knocks you down.

Like I said there is no reason for them to inspect the inside of your fridge. It should be a quick in and out inspection.

the fridge belongs to the apartment company though, so what if during the inspection they open it just to make sure its not damaged? like the inner doors and stuff and all the holders...... I'd be utterly fucked if they opened the fridge and saw a maturing marijuana plant.

edit: the report says its a thorough inspection

You'll be fine if its in the fridge, I have been through inspections and they don't go through EVERYTHING. As long as your place looks clean, no holes in the wall ect, they are going to walk in, look around EACH room (bathroom included), and bounce. Shit they are probably high while doing the inspection.

Have you spoken to someone else that has had a inspection in the past? You should know already what to expect.

If you think they will look in the fridge the second best idea I've seen on here is the moving box or wardrobe box. Just put it in there and seal it up as tight as possible.

Also the girlfriend in the shower trick wasn't bad. When they knock go and cut on the shower. If they say they have to look in there than let them check out the rest of the apartment. Say you will get your girl out if they would wait outside for a moment. Appologize. Then move the plant to a part of the apartment that they have already inspected.

These are great ideas, I was going to suggest the trash bag...in a box, or a can all the better. You absolutely could do this with just the trash bag in a closet with clothes

Your plant looks small (not trying to offend you just by the looks of it you kept it small) Is it possible that its small enough to fit in your fridge?
If so grab a cooler or some boxes (cooler prefered to keep the food cool) then take out the racks and put her in there (should also keep the smell in there too)

Great idea Jefff...I thought about it, but because he has no car...figured no chick. Either way, they really do not want to be there long...it is work.

Gift wrap is a great idea. Last year I delivered a few clones in Christmas gift bags as well as a mother plant in a giant gift bag.

Trash bags would work just fine...and bake some cookies! Or throw a chicken in some water and make stock, your whole apartment will smell like chicken...make soup...remember you are sick!

Oh yeah, if you are doing this, of course calling in sick is necessary! Do not let them look while you are out.

An acquaintance had this (not in Canada) same thing with the note...they never showed.

Well, I think I'm going to get a large box.... and put the plant in it and throw in a shitload of air fresheners and seal it as tight as possible... and I'm gonna put it it in the closet with a bunch of other boxes so they just think its stuff I haven't unpacked yet...

Wish me luck..... I WILL report back.... and if I don't... I was caught..... inspection is 01/08/10

that is bullshit, so you live under some bodys thumb. I would live in a place where that did not happen.If u can. U really shoudn't grow where they inspect your place 3-4 times a year ur just asking for trouble. hope every thing is ok.

ok all these ideas are good and could easily get away with them but there alwas that chance that you wont and if there already a warrent out for you is it really worth it for th difference in bud if you get caught youll lose the plant anyway i would play it safe and chop it up but it your call good luck whatever you do
