FRST DWC GROW "Think Dfferent" need help all the way through...

yeah i was thinking to myself that the bottom of the bucket looked a little dirty, did you rinse or wash your hydroton before using it? you'll get a ton of dust from those that will build up in the bottom of the bucket otherwise, not really a biggie though. I've only done DWC once but got 3oz on my first attempt. using a 2ft 4 tube t5 and a 240watt blackstar LED. Keep up the good work.
just started my 2nd DWC attempt. mines a few days behind yours. And it's C99 not "Think Different" but it will be nice to compare the two.

yeah the problem might be the hydroton..İ didn't wash them before use and its like this for 2 weeks... what's you use for nutes Adam & Cola?

can i give them half strength nutes??

i've just changed the reservoir.. İ added

HESİ grow 40 ml/16.5 liter
power zyme 20ml/16.5 liter
root complex 40ml/16.5 liter
super vitamin 3 drops in 16.5 liter

she is now 14 days old.. Ph is around 5.5 - 6.0.. İ have Ph test kit for aquarium and calculate like 4.5-5.0 5.0-5.5 6.0-6.5.........

what you say??? Is it OK for you these ratio of nutes???

First 2 week, i used half of dosage what i gave today...

Sounds good so far, although I cant see any pics.. dunno if thats just me!

I'm in the process of starting up a pretty similar grow, my first DWC with a think different too, building a wooden cab with a 200w cfl, and planning on adding about another 4 x 65watters later. This grow will be a nice guide for me so i'll deff come back!

my first go around with DWC i used a no name brand of nutes called "X Nutrients" it was a local company but cheap. but this time i'm trying out Dyna-grow. I"m still in the process of figuring out the sweet spot for these nutes.

I actually just picked up my new tent today. it's a 3x3 oasis with an actual foot print of 44.5 x 44.5 no more covering the plant with cheap generic emergency blanket mylar. now I just need to get the screen for the scrog.

As far as nutes go. with you doing an auto I would keep nutes at half strength or less until flower. but I'm no pro, maybe others can chime in and provide better advice than myself.

Looks very healthy so far. 5.5-6.0 should be fine, it will vary as the plants consume the water/nutes anyways, so check it once a day.

there is some root color change if you can see from the picture. Yesterday i add 10ml root complex more to reservoir, could it be caused by?

I'm not a pro, but your roots look healthy to me. Teas will stain them a bit, but usually you want white roots.

I hardly check ph these days, just ppm levels, and looking at my plants for visible problems and checking ph on one or two of my four plants that I have going atm to guesstimate an avarage for them all, feels a bit too easy lol.

and realize that there is light leaking at the lid, so painted black top of the bin

and change light cfl to 250w HPS

I changed the reservoir..
New Nutrient ratio...

added/Max in 16,5L

Grow 60ml/80ml
Root Complex 60ml/ 80ml
PowerZyme 30ml/ 32ml
Super Vitamin 3 drop/ 3 drop

DAY 22

There is some burns on younger leave tips... Nutrient burn?, heat stress? There is no fan between light and plant..I raised light up to 30cm away from the top.(25 cm before)and add 0,5L water to reservoir for anycase of nute burn(EC problem).
