Frozen bud?

So, I have finally found a new way to limit the smell of large amounts of bud. Put it in the freezer!

But it looks like my new technique has come at a price. The bud seems to be quite a bit drier than it was 2 days ago when I put it in. I quadruple bagged it, and it really does keep the whole house from stinking. Am I just tripping, or does freezing your buds dry them out?

Think about it, which is dryer to you, the Sahara or the South Pole, idk about anyone else, but i dont sweat at the pole, lol colder is better for drying is my point heat just makes things cook lmao

I would think freezing your bud would make it less potent because the trichs on your buds will freeze and easily break off. Who wants to freeze the crystals off their buds?

No one! But where are the crystals going to go? Straight to the bottom of my bag.

I'm in no way disappointed if this batch did indeed dry out a little. It was by no means grade A bud, and was obviously not properly cured.

Just for future reference though, when getting rid of it, I get rid of it by weight. If putting it in the freezer makes it dry out, it's losing weight and taking $ right out of my pocket. I'm by no means stingy, but I don't want to give my friends dust weed and lose money myself. I need to invest in some jars and smell proof bags.

Hahaha, your bud won't 'sweat' in the freezer mate, that's for sure. It's weird how things like water curing your bud actually dries them faster and more thoroughly than air curing them, which is weird considering you soak them in water for 7 days... Water curing takes most the smell away too, unfortunately if ur selling, it does make it loose more weight than an air cure and have less bag appeal coz it often turns brownish as it's far more efficient at removing the chlorophyll.

ok cool..you know what's up. Yea the crystals do fall right to the bottom of the bg. It's a good way of collecting kief.
