Frosty the snowho....

I know I was pushing it, but just a few days ago I thought I might overcome my first rookie move of planting late. I had basically no chance of harvesting anything here, but I was still riding it out.

I had a beautiful little lady of a Kona Gold plant yesturday, today I pulled the plastic cover off and found a frosty-the-snow-ho. I'm not sour, yes, I am - but I learned a lot and I have all winter to plan, and four seeds to get it right next year!

Does anybody know if it's worth it to try and salvage anything?

so I went home for lunch to take a look, she shook off the snow/frost and now appears to be fine, relativley speaking. the next few days are supposed to be mild, considering it's November, I wonder.... I don't want to cut her down,,, LOL

Am i missing something? What's a frosty-the-snow-ho? Anyway can you transplant her into a pot and bring her inside by a window? Or a porch?

I could dig her up and put her inside, but I figured that would kill it more then just trying to leave it outside... it would have to be a big pot to not damage the roots...

Even if you damaged them a little it should still produce something for you and at least gets you familiar with the flowering.

Okay, I'll dig her up tomorrow. What about inside lighting, i am not prepared for lighting. The room she'll go in does get good light. And she is flowering right now, probably about 4 weeks into it with some trichomes visable.

Ya she will just stay in shock and not grow in temp's like that. Pretty sure a MJ plant will stop growing with temps below 45F. Sweet Pics though.

Since you weren't prepared for indoor lighting consider getting some CFL's since they're pretty cheap, unless you want to spring for a more expensive setup. It's not going to progress and eventually die off as the weather gets colder if left outside.

I went and looked at her this morning before work and she looks ok, not great but it's raining today so that can't help. Today it is 55 and raining, tonight its supposed to remain "warm" at 50 and then tomorrow the forecast is 60 and partly rainy. It could be 90 by sunday, I'm kidding but this is new england and anything is possible.

I'm going to look into the CFL lights, at this point it's worth it to do it. Digging her up was/is my last option. I'm just still not sure what bucket I should put her in when I dig her up.
