Frost!!

So how much of a frost can cannabis tolerate, if any. i had a buddy sell me some herb and said it had been frost bitten. still smoked good smelled a little weird but just curious if anyone knows much about this.

If I'm not mistaken, frost will kill a plant. Not for sure, cause pot around here is picked before frost hits.

If it got hit by frost it is all over.

so there is no chance of it dipping below 32 for a few hours and surviving at all?

If it is areally hard frost usually on a clear night they are def done. If it was a light nite maybe not all of the plant but if droppep 32 or lower i would say youre screwed. But the bud will be alright after you cure it.

The only thing the frost did was cut it down before it might have been totally finished.

Some plants can take more then others.

White rhino can take a little

If it is getting that cold wherever he is at he should finish inside if he can. If it is in a container. He could be alright though but would already know by now if the plant was bitten or not.

plants vary on frost, if it goes below 25 for more than 6 hrs, your probably gonna lose some potency, but if it freezes for just a few hrs 3 or 4, u shouild be fine

Most plants cannot take even a couple of hours below 30 degrees. That's considered a hard frost.You'll know when that occurs.The plant will go limp and wilt.

No MJ plant will survive below 29 degrees much less at 25.At 25 for 6 hours your plant will be frozen. BC is full of it.

Well I'm a little confused then. On my very first grow we had a power outage that lasted 16 days in the middle of January. I know it got below freezing at night because a bottle of water I had sitting right outside the cab froze.
