Alright so after checking the weather it appears we are going to get our first frost tonight!!

my babies are still not done, 2 of them have at least another week and the other 2 maybe 2 more weeks.

Now they are all in a small greenhouse I have.

I know I cant chop them now, so what are my options? They are fairly big and would be hard, not to mention risk being seeing, to move them.

HOWEVER I DO HAVE POWER in my little greenhouse

So I was wondering if i should put a small space heater in there on low over night? What do you think??

I have no idea if the glow from a space heater will affect anything during the dark period, but I'd use it. I expect forced heat thru some duct work would do the job. Hope someone with some experience with that responds.
Good luck.

Lol you're a little too worried bro. Their covered for one so there won't be any dew on the for frost to form. And two you have power for a space heater, sounds simple to me. Certainly wouldn't chop, that's for sure and this is coming from a guy on the Oregon coast with large plants in a greenhouse looking at 34-35ish tonight. So I know what you're feeling man. Things will be alright, just take the precautions and you're already headed in the right direction.

Yeah I would say common since would kick in USE THE HEATER!! Lol just joking Hope it works out Happy growing

aha ya thanks guys appreciate it :D first grow so i got noob anxiety, especially so when its so close to being able to taste that tasty green budd <3 :weed: I set the heater on lowest setting, I didnt point it directly at the plants so i doubt the heat coil light would be an issue, I will be checking it in a few hours to make sure temps arent to high/low :) thanks again all.

Also i have a vent on the top of the greenhouse, its usually opened a decent amount but I closed it for the night, any opinions on keeping it open or not? im sure it probably doesnt really matter just curious for future refernce and assurance :) Thanks again everyone, kinda shit myself when i checked the weather and it said in big red letters

"FROST WARNING (ALL YOUR PLANTS AND BUD ARE GOING TO DIE MUAHAHHAHA)" ...the brackets i heard in my mind :)

You don't need a heater if you don't want to run one. Just run an oscillating fan all night. If the air is moving there will be no frost, even if it gets down to 20 degrees.

Very true...never thought of that...great idea for anyone that doesnt have a space heater or if its too big of a place to cover with one! Also I just water around 5pm today. I was just curious, when it goes below freezing, doesn't the water in the plant freeze, which would kill it?

Or im assuming like most bugs/other plants they may have some sort of antifreeze that requires lower then freezing to actually freeze? just curious really, plants are such adaptive and amazing things, especially good ol cannabis <3

The funny thing is I dont have an oscillating fan, go figure :P
