Frost in NW ohio

Okay, so my plants are outdoors and flowering. What to do about frost? It says that on average the first day for frost could be sept 29th. My plants should be done around then. If it does happen, what should I do? Tarp?

don't think it would be a killing frost, so imo, I wouldn't worry to heavy about it, but just in case, something cloth will work fine,

so just like draping a sheet over it then?

I have one plant that was left outside by mistake last night. It went down below freezing, -1C, 29F. The plant looks okay but is wilted with some translucent patterns on most leaves, and the leaves are soft and damp instead of their normal paper dry feel. I will report back what happens. Very unhappy about this. I have a tiny little personal grow going on - 6 plants. And this of course was the best plant. Has to be that way, eh?

yeah. i kept having a feeling something is going to happen to helen, my best plant. Its getting closer to harvest time, and so much COULD go wrong. Hopefully I am paranoid.

Wheres it frosting at?

Unless it's some strain of equatorial origin, you don't really need to worry. If you're anywhere near the lake, temperatures will be somewhat moderated by the lake water.

Generally no need to hit the panic button until mid-end Oct when weather gets sloppier.
