From veg to flower, how long?

Im seeing a bunch of posts/threads about people flowering at different times. As early as a few weeks, and some at a few months. Im confused by this. Im on my first grow and so far so good. There sprouting now and are about 2-4 inches up, they look very healthy. I am using 4 CFL lights and have more ready for when they get bigger, I have nutes but have yet to introduce them into the water. I water about 2 times a day out of a spray bottle (about 6 sprays each pot)

About how long will it take for my baby's to grow full flower? (harvest time) and is there a way to speed the process? I want it to grow ASAP! Im not looking for HUGE amounts so if the mount makes the difference thats ok.

what plants are you growing. all plants are different. 6 to 18 weeks at 12/12 not vegg., depending on plant type. any pics of yours. try not to water every day. maybe every two. other than that , whats your grow cycle 18/6 or 24/0 for vegg, and before you go to flowering 12/12. 12 light and 12hours compleat darkness youll have to vegg the plants first on th 18/6 or 24/0. till the size you want then when you goto 12/12 . once the plants start to flower, they can double in size. but youll allready know that.good luck.

Bag seed, ill post some pics when I get home in about an hour. Right now there on 12/12 light, should I change that? And the pots get dry REAL quick, I should still lessen the amount of water?

Dude, slow the hell down. Its going to take you at least 3 1/2 months to grow a plant. If you are on 12/12 now and they just sprouted then i assume you are flowering from the beginning because vegging is supposed to have 24/0 light. Spraying is not the best method either. Water them through the soil and not 2 times a day. More like every other day.

at least 2 months if you dont veg at all, which it doesnt seem like you are since you are on 12/12

Holy crap... they're only 2-4" tall and you're throwing them into flower already? You'll be lucky to get one joint per plant. You need to let them grow for a few weeks before going 12/12. Patience is a virtue in this process. If you need weed, buy some but you'll regret screwing up your plants by rushing it. And after harvesting you'll have to dry and cure them - another two weeks or so if done properly.

I dont want to super rush, I want good plants, so I need to keep more light on them? Can I do something like 16/8 or is it a certain ratio I should be using? Help me out I dont want to screw up, I can be patient.

Until you flower, you need 24 hours of light all time so they'll grow

Then when you want to flower, switch to 12/12

Can I make it any less, I doubt my fiance will let me keep them on 24/7. Here are a pic of my babies...

why does she not want want u have them on 24/7? If u just grow in an empty space like a closet or somethin then noone would see the lights or care. becuase even when u start to flower theyr gonna have to be in a closed light-tight space

you can do 18/6 for veg, i use 24/0 but a lot of people talk about doing 18/6. youre plants also look pretty stretched, those lights need to be waaaay closer. like 1-2 inches away from the plants

you can put the plants back into vegg, just put them under 24/0 lites, for 3 to 4 week. then put em into 12/12. slow down. only feed when the plants are 2 to 3 weeks, start a 1/4 str. then a week later onother 1/4 and so on till you go to 12/12. if i was you id go to 24/0 you plants will be ok, just maybe put back a week. and yes you can go 18/6 insted of 24/0 thats ok too. , but flos dont cost much to run, esp. when you reep. you harvest. it all pays in the end. and if you dont keep to correct timine 18/6 24/0 and then 12/12, if you fuck with the times, or dont leave your plants in compleat darkness. they will go hermie, from female and infect all your females and all your weed will have seeds and give you headace .load of shit weed. waste of time,when you smoke it. maybe you should read up a little. you have internet, and all the growing gear, how come you dont know the bare basics. anyway hope you get the hang of it, and have a good harvest.good luck. you get what you put in. like anything.

Thanks for all the tips fellas, just put the lights closer, and will also keep the lights on 18/6. Thanks again fellas, will keep it all updated and create a journal soon.

Lower lose lights a little bit and keep them on at least 18/6 or 24/0 but dont switch it around.

Remember, 18/6 is 1/4 the light reduction of 24 and can save some money in the long run.
