I have made a cannabis bud ferment with about half a small jar worth of fresh bud and some molasses + em. The consistency is quite runny for the amount of molasses that went in the mix, about 50/50 mix bud and molasses.

Whats your take on re fermentation aka draining all the liquids from the jar and then using the liquids as the base for a new ferment with additional dried bud?
The plan is to make a nice organic diy bloom booster to compliment my Banana/Papaya/Squash ferment for late flower.

I have also kept a small jars worth of ash from my joints that I shall use at about week four of flower as a K boost. I am on a mission to find info about dosages to ensure that I dont burn my crop with an excess of K. Do you think a teaspoon 5ml worth of ash would be sufficient for a 20L pot as a k booster or should I rather start with 2.5ml and apply week4 and week 6?

ive had a bad experience doing that. it began to smell putrid so i tossed it into the woods. i used a fermented fruit extract into a bone extract. i would still attempt a fruit extract to another plant extract though.

i like to top dress a tablespoon or two in a three to five gallon container. or, ill use one to two tablespoons per gallon of water. its super high in K of course but when you mix potash woth water it form KOH which is a great basifier (and soap precurser). so, observe your pH if you plan on using ash more frequently than just bud forming. lastly, it washes out easily so would only be useful per application, which is good imo

beginning of the shiitake grow. im using 16 cups of wild bird seed, third cup lime and third cup azomite. im soaking the bird seed right now with 8 cups of water i think. this should soak in some and then i will ferment the substrate for one-two weeks using EMe amd molasses. I dont care about the pH of the substrate after fermentation because i assume the lime will provide a buffer and hopefully not an inhibitor. 0120172147.jpgstill have to mix in that azomite...

i plan on using a slow cooker with a small hole on the lid to inject the spores via syringe. this is after cooking it on low for a night. pseudo pastuerization of the EMe.1484967514182366553166.jpgits dirty from measuring how much birdseed and water will fit inside.

not that its incredibly inportant but i used an 8th cup of lime and 8th cup of azomite, not a third cup each. idk why i wrote that.
