From MiracleGrow to FoxFarm soil

Hey guys.. I was stupid and planted my plants in that 3month feed Miracle grow shit. I went and bought some FoxFarm soil, Big Bloom and Grow Big.

I also have some 1.5gal pots...

My Q is.. My plants are 9 days old.. One is being affected by the Miracle Grow food... Getting burns... What is the best way of transferring them into the new soil?? I dont want to damage roots, but I also want to get rid of as much Miracle Grow as I can.

Suggestions on what specifically I need to do??

Carefully remove plant from pot and gently spray the dirt off with cool water, transplant into new soil and give it a week to recover.

So do I make it so its just strings of roots dangling? Or should their still be SOME of the dirt on the roots?

I dont know how much of it to clean off..

If its just stringy roots dangling, how deep to I make the "hole" in the new pot dirt to put the plant in??

Also, on FoxFarms schedule, they say you can use BIGBLOOM from seedlings... Would this be a good idea to use to help it recoupe from the transplant??

i would just transplant them into the fox farms and gently remove some of the mg without damage to the roots. some might say to remove most of the dirt do a soaking in a superthrive mixture then plant into the fox farms.

how do u watch them from work? i know u use a web cam but how to you see them over the net?

I created a skype account, I have it always logged in on an extra laptop that sits on top of my grow box.... When I get to work, I sign into Skype and I call it... I put it on "auto answer" and "start video when a call begins"....

Thus, I get to work, call it, it answers and the cam comes on.

Voila!

Oh and the only person it will auto answer for is me... Since im its only buddy.

IT people(or your boss) in the company could possibly view what is currently being displayed on your monitor with their own software.

It sounds like an unnecessary risk IMO.

Yeah, we have no IT people and my boss doesnt have the know-how of that.

But thanks for the concern.

Nah, totally free. Skype has better video than the other instant messengers too. Not trying to rep them.. Just saying its better quality.
