From 12/12 switch to when a male will drop polen?

Roughly how long will it take a male plant to drop its pollen from the time you change its light cycle to 12/12?

I got a plant that has some hairs, but it also has what appears to be balls. On my other male plants there were at least 2 balls per 'clump', but this plant is only showing 1 ball per 'clump' (which is what all the females did), so I'm still not sure if its going to shoot out its pistals, or if its actually a hermie, but I sure don't want it to drop its polen and destory my other females!

I'll post a pic of the plant in question later tonight once its lights on for them =)
